MLB The Show - Which position?

I'm just curious.

What position do people usually choose in Road to the show?

I tried it as a SS, but I stunk up the joint and dove into franchise mode out of sheer embarrassment.

(I got tired of the manager yelling at me)

Anyway with '09 coming out, I thought I'd see what everyone else's experience has been like.

I made a SS in mlb 08 the show. At first it was fun turning double plays and all, but it got pretty boring after a while.

A closing pitcher isn't a bad idea. I liked it. Its a pitcher, and it doesn't take a long time to finish if you're pitching 1-2 innings. But your team must be winning for you to go in...its a give or take situation.

Outfield or starter.

I never really bothered with my reliever because he pitches like twice a month, or he pitches every day for a whole month.

You'd think so. But you never know. There may be a zen to it we don't understand.

I'm glad they're adding more realism.

I may be tempted to try 3rd after watching that video. LOL.
