A division showdown but the Cardinals are hot right now so I pick them on the road.
The 49ers are not good enough yet unless they can sweep the Cardinals tonight.

Wait what, you're from SF but an Angels fan?..................X360PS3AMD05
I've lived most of my life in SoCal, but now I live in the bay. I happen to be a Bears fan (closet 49ers fan now that Singletary is the coach), and this game is a birthday present. I have no other live pro football to watch (the Raiders don't count).
Cards always sturggle with Niners, and the Cards are an immature team. They always seem to have big letdowns after big wins, and after pasting the Vikes, they are sure to mail this game in.
I like the Niners.

Lucky you. That would probably be the best game we play all season. Although from what I saw, there weren't a lot of people in the stands in Oakland.

It was pretty empty. I was quite surprised no one messed with me too, I was REALLY vocal the whole game lol. I was right by the raider afro guy who does the first down chant. I did it right back by myself when Redskins got a first down![QUOTE="Seabas989"][QUOTE="Chutebox"]

I guess the Raiders fans had enough all season.
BTW do u live in the bay area or is it a vacation?

Russell was literally booed every single time he walked on the field, threw an inc pass, and especially when he was sacked, fumbled, and threw the INT. It was hilarious. I live in the valley south of Sacramento.[QUOTE="Seabas989"][QUOTE="Chutebox"] It was pretty empty. I was quite surprised no one messed with me too, I was REALLY vocal the whole game lol. Nope, always in Cali. First game I watched was a Redskin game and liked them ever since. Btw, I think niners are gonna win!they got it anyway no worriesWow, niners were screwed out of a TD. he wasn't even close to down, how do you make that call when you're looking directly at it...
Chutebox
[QUOTE="BaraChat"]It was the right call, he never had full possession of the ball.Wow that was an ugly call by the refs...
That was such a CLEAN catch by Fitz...
At least now they have both the first down and the penalty, which makes for about 30 yards.
Chutebox
Full possession? He had it for at least 2-3 full seconds.
And it wasn't even close. Even commentators were laughing at how ridiculous the call was, saying : "How long do you want him to have the ball before calling it a complete pass?"

According to the rules it was the right call. I think they were talking mainly about the rule itself, which is a horrible rule.
My Cardinal's offense didn't show up to this game at all. Missed an extra point? Terrible. Countless penalty flags? Disgusting. 7 TURNOVERS? INEXCUSABLE! Not that this game matters much though... the Cards will clinch the division next week when they play Detroit. But still, this has been a disgusting game on offense from a team that usually has a good offense. Good job Niners, I'll give you the props. You deserved to win this game just like we deserved to lose. You're not making the playoffs though, so don't get too excited.Messiahbolical-Actually the 49ers still could get in. They need to win their final 3 and hope NY goes no better than 2-1 and the Boys flop to 1-2. In a 3 way tie like this the 9ers get the nod assuming people lose to the right teams I think.

Well I don't know the exact rules of a "completed pass", to be honest, but I'll agree that, if THAT was not a completed pass, then the rule is indeed pretty horrible. But the Cards were playing so bad that it doesn't really matter whether he caught it or not, but it would have been a nice momentum shift for a moment there.
Even from the extreme nosebleed seats, Candlestick has a nice view, but damn that stadium is a relic. No wonder the Niners organization is screaming for a new stadium, they actually need it.
yeah its a junkpile...right down to its trough style bathrooms and ancient seats. I do hope they build the new stadium here in SF though.Even from the extreme nosebleed seats, Candlestick has a nice view, but damn that stadium is a relic. The deal in Santa Clara is pretty much done. Hello Santa Clara 49ers.LOL I had the worst seats ever at Candlestick. Last year, in the final game against the Redskins, I sat in a section where you couldn't even see half the field because a wall blocked your view. Luckily the tickets were a reward for helping the stadium crew out; I would have been so pissed if I paid for the ticket.Even from the extreme nosebleed seats, Candlestick has a nice view, but damn that stadium is a relic. Probably a necessary evil. Unless they can magically create a spot that is easily accessible. Candlestick Park is a pain in the ass to get in and out of.

Ya, man I hate that place. It takes FOREVER to get out of there. Especially when on the freeway, it's backed up for ages.[QUOTE="MarcusAntonius"][QUOTE="MoonMarvel"] NOT going to happen. The deal in Santa Clara is pretty much done. Hello Santa Clara 49ers.Chutebox

The Muni? Don't you guys have underground trains........X360PS3AMD05
You have to walk about a mile to get to the Muni line. The nearest BART station doesn't make things anymore accessible.
