[QUOTE="Microsoft1234"][QUOTE="Jagged3dge"]

well its official, LeBron hate is incorrigible.

Dude really hasn't done anything WRONG, or out of character. But people just wish he was the next Jordan looking to take a loser city to a championship...

Darth_Revan_666

yea lebron represents class when he jokes at dirk's illness during the finals. Dirk outplayed lebron while he was sick in the 4th quarter of game 4 than lebron played the entirety of that whole game. Just sayin.

D-Wade did the same thing. And yet we're not hearing about any hate on Wade. Hypocrits.

i made a comment about wade like 7 or 8 posts right before(up on the page) talking about him being childish....................................................

and your use of the word hypocrit isn't correct in this context. But yes the media and other people should focus on Wade, for me I always thought he was immature/d bag

[QUOTE="Fizzman"]You really want me to show you his finals stats? It aint much better.

Dude sucks in the finals and its not even debatable.

No_Hablo_Ingles

ABC already showed LeBron's stats... they are better then Kobe's and on par with Magic's for the first 9 games

yea i'm pretty sure they compared them for the sake of comparison and that magic and kobe's stats were better. At least that's what I remember at the end of game 6. kobe's fg % was similar but he scored alot more (i.e. more aggressive). And stats don't really show how lebron played this series, he had a really weak triple double.

LeBron actually scored more after game 6, but the difference was like .1 or something like that

Do you mean he has a higher PPG total during his first 10 finals games compared to Kobe's first 10? Because he doesn't, I even saw Bill Plaschke on ESPN claim Lebron scored 2 PPG more. Kobe has averaged 20.1 PPG through his first 10 while Lebron only netted 19.5. Pretty sure the numbers are right.

Lebron

14,25,25,24,24,20,17,8,17,21 = 195 or 19.5

Kobe

14,2,28,8,26,15,31,32,19,26 = 201 or 20.1

First 9 not first 10. From the post you quoted

ABC already showed LeBron's stats... they are better then Kobe's and on par with Magic's for the first 9 gamesNo_Hablo_Ingles

The stat they showed before game 7, so the 10th game wasn't added

Lebron

14,25,25,24,24,20,17,8,17 = 174 or 19.3 ppg

Kobe

14,2,28,8,26,15,31,32,19= 156 or 17.3 ppg

The very nature of stats is that they are frequently updating.

Bill made the comment after the Heat lost not before, so why would he leave out an entire game that was just played? Also even after the first 9 Kobe still scores more. Also you said Lebron scored more after game 6, he only does that if you leave out kobes 10th game. Why give Lebron an added game over Kobe when they played 10 through their first 2 finals? Lebron 174 = 19.3 Kobe 175 = 19.4

You left out the 19, the numbers you gave equal 175 not 156. The 156 is after 8 games.

If true, Bill is just wrong, unless he said "after the first 9 games he averaged 2 more points then Kobe." I was talking about the graphic ABC showed where LeBron was better then Kobe and on par with Magic.

Yes he would be, my mistake. Kobe has the advantage of .1 in points that I thought LeBron had, LeBron leads in things like assist and rebounds

We all make mistakes, no big deal. Lebron has the edge in both and the second by almost 2 through 10 games. Bill also said home teams in the stanley cup were 17 - 2 in home game 7's. That aint right either.

[QUOTE="Jagged3dge"]

[QUOTE="Los9090"] Every players says their goal is to "win the Championship, Cup, Superbowl, World Series, etc". But they all don't say "it will be easy". And when Shaq was in his prime, it seemed a lot of fans were rooting against Shaq during his time with the Lakers and the Heat...it didn't help when he would rub it in people's faces about his team's superiority. But we're not going to see eye to eye on this obviously. Los9090

Just admitted it, your not mad at what he said, your mad at who said it.

Shaq wasn't greatly hated like James is and thats the exact reason why the media wouldn't care to look into it. Was the early parade a little drastic, yeah, but when you think about it those guys didn't arrange that, the organization did. I'm not going to lie, its a great reason to hate LeBron; however, its a stupid reason to completely hate a guy for what most players do themselves. Why don't people get mad at Bosh & Wade for their part in that anyway.?

One more thing, you all knew who LBJ was before he left the Cavs. That team use to have ridiculous pre game antics and people just looked at them like "Oh well, those guys are just having fun out there." Come on guys, LBJ is still the same dude you all loved when he was on the Cavs. Now that he wasn't what you all wanted to be you want to attack his personality and call him egoistical and arrogant.

I was never a fan of LBJ and I'm still not now, he's just on the team I root for. But there is no doubt that the hate the guy gets is stupid.

It isn't that, I think Stevensen is an idiot too for wearing that shirt. Really uncalled for. I think this is coming down to someone that is slaying your sacred cow and you making a poor attempt to say "I'm not a fan of him" considering he's on the team you cheer for.

Read what I post, not the final line, thats how I know you don't know what your talking about

I simply put that to let you know that I'm not defending LeBron because he's my favorite player. I respect his game no doubt while he was in Leaveland, but just like Melo, I didn't care for his personality. The dude has been full of gimmicks since day 1, and the media and NBA fans adore it. He hasn't changed, the publics opinion(you included)of him has.

His stats were awful. He was the weakest link for the Heat big three. He did not win a NBA finals MVP with those weak stats. He won two games.

Please enlighten me Heat fan. Im sure you know all of LBJ's stats starting from last July.

This is why I cant stand Heat fans. They are so out of touch with reality. Kind of like LBJ.

Im sure the defensive monster J-Kidd was just too much to handle for LBJ.

Fox Sports summed it up perfectly.

"The Decision" put James in America's crosshairs, and ultimately the two-time MVP was the one most responsible for his team coming up short. He averaged 3.0 fourth-quarter points in the series and spent second halves meandering around the perimeter, seemingly hoping the ball didn't come toward him. If ever there was a case of a so-called superstar shrinking from the moment, it was James' gutless performance in front of millions of eyes in these NBA finals.

Bottom line is, the Heat needs to start playing transition offense, and not that slow and clunky offense they've been running all season. Its only because they are all so talented that their offensive woes wouldnt show up most of the time. If Lebron, Wade and Bosh would've been running fastbreaks against the Mavs, Im pretty sure the Heat would've won the Finals easily.

Tragic Magic.......hmmmm I think LBJ would love to be called Tragic Lebron if he got a finals MVP his rookie year and then another finals MVP when he went back. The comparisons to Magic Johnson are laughable.

I will give LBJ as much credit as a person who is being guarded by a 38 year old Jason Kidd deserves....which aint much. Jason Kidd is a future HOF'er, but at this point of his career he already had one foot in the grave in the Finals.

He played like garbage. This is not even debatable. The Miami Heat lost because LBJ played like trash. If he played up to his averages the Heat would have won the ship. Instead we got the same old LBJ from the Boston series last year. Second he faced any adversity he folded. Maybe his elbow was bothering him again?

He refused to take any control of the offense in the 4th quarter. He took awful shots when J.J. Barea guarded him even though he could have easily overpowered him. His lack of post game, which he has needed badly once again made him a poor jump shooter. He was hitting ridiculous shots against the Bulls and he continued thinking he would hit those shots and he got burned big time.

He only showed up for three quarters and that doesnt mean anything when a game of NBA basketball requires you to play four quarters.

Keep in mind that the words likegarbage, bad and awful that I use to describe LBJ in the finalsare all relative.

I wasn't in no way comparing LeBron to Magic, just naming two different groups of doubters from different times.

Yeah I just don't understand, you must of really wanted the Heat to win cause you seem mad.

Its so easy to put the loss on LeBron's back isn't it? The Heat could of swept the Mavs if they didn't give up the 15 point lead in game 2 and the 9 point lead in game 4. So in other words, the Heat lost because of their inability to close out games against an extremely resilient Mavs team.

Why do I have the feeling that if Wade played bad then he wouldn't receive the same hate.? Oh yeah, because he didn't in the Chicago series. Lets be real here, if Wade struggled then you wouldn't be scrutinizing any single player. Instead you'd say how the Mavs wanted it more and they were the better team, which they rightfully deserve.

This is why I call you a bitter LeBron hater. You don't watch the games for enjoyment or to see how it plays out. You just watched each game with your eyes narrowed in on LeBron, waiting to catch each & every mistake....LeBron was probably on the bench and you were watching him. Maybe you like him more than you think.

I feel like I'm talking to an ESPN representative

The difference between Heat fans and NBA fans that watched the series is that Heat fans know its stupid to blame the failure on a single player. We can sit here all day and say "What If LeBron dropped 25", but it didn't happen and that's not the reason the Heat lost.

You remind me of the people that called Magic Johnson, "Tragic Magic" for 3-4 years. Dallas deserves more credit than the Heat deserve criticism, why can't you give it to them?

Jagged3dge

We can sit here all day and say "What IfLeBron dropped 25", but it didn't happen and that's not the reason the Heat lost.

ESPN fans? ESPN is the website that has the Heat Index in the NBA section of its site. They were and still are hardcore LBJ lovers. They predicted the Heat to win every series only because they had LBJ/Wade and Bosh.

It is easy to put the loss on Lebron because he was the worst player of the big three. They came to Miami to win ships and dominate. Bosh and Wade played well for the most part in the finals. Wade had a brutal game six. Bosh didnt get enough touches and wasnt as assertive as he should have been, but he was trained to stop whining by the Heat.

No one cares that Wade didnt play great in Chicago because they won. Winning cures all and LBJ and his abysmal performance gets magnified x10 fold because they lost. Wade wasn't the one who promised, not one, not two, not three, not four...................and he didn't have an hour long special dedicated to his narcissism.

Umm Its not hard to notice LBJ on the court because he constantly sucked. He was the worst player on the Heat between the big three.

This is why I hate Heat fans. They are so delusional and out of touch with reality that they get all upset when people dont understand why people hate LBj and the Heat.

Its really simple and its a fact.

LBJ had a bad finals and his performance was the biggest reason why the team failed. Instead of getting LBJ circa ECF 2011, we got LBJ circa 2010 Boston series. A choke artist who folds when he faces any adversity.

I love how you try to act like a fan by saying that ohh the team lost and we are too smart to blame the loss on a single player. Ummmm the Miami Heat team is basically three players. If LBJ/Wade or Bosh have an average game the team will most of the time lose. They have a crappy bench with a bunch of geriatrics. Mike Bibby was the worst player in the history of the NBA finals PER wise. He played 20 minutes a game because the Heat had no other option.

Its funny how all this garbage is coming from an OKC fan, a team that is trash in comparison.Dude your team isn't that deep. Yeah you can call the bench crap all you want, but the Heat have had players step up to win them games from that bench, and you can't ask for anything more in the postseason.

Actually ESPN had us losing to Boston, and almost all of the Heat's other competition past the sixers. Shows how much you know.

Listen, I understand that your hurt that LeBron left the Cavs and he didn't turn out to be what you expected. But jumping ship to OKC won't help either, at this point Durante isn't a superstar, maybe just a good shooter. I hope that for your own good he'll stay a Thunder so you don't have to go looking for another man

7 out of the 12 ESPN analysts picked Miami. Hooray for actually checking your facts.

Bulls was 12/14 picking the Heat. Fact checking ftw. Would have taken you a grand total of 30 seconds to do.

15/22 picked Miami in the finals.

What does OKC have to do with my knowledge of basketball? Nothing. Trash in comparison?three years old and already had a trip to the WCF.Thats my kind of trash.Just a whiny little Heat fan who cant back up anything he says. Par for the course.

Heat bench really stepped up...lol. Got destroyed by one player. Jason Terry. I find it hilarious that you actually believe the Heat bench is actually good. On a good night its average.

The Heat were in position to win games until the 4th quarter. They got slaughtered like they did early on in the season. LBJ played for the most part OK until the 4th quarter. Then he had enormous collapses that just killed the Heat offense. Other players had the same issues, but LBJ was the focal point of that failure.

Never was a Cavs fan. Never cared for LBJ. Im sure you are a big fan of LBJ though and his fantastic performance in the finals. I bet you hope he has a repeat performance in his next finals appearance right?

PS Durant signed his contract extension already. He didnt have a one hour television special about it. Its called class, something LBJ always lacked just like a ring.

Now run along little Heat fan.

Heat bench stepping up and good are virtually the same. A bench is supposed to lift a team and give it those critical points to keep a team in it. Jason Terry did that all series long. Heat bench.......not so much. Although the Heat bench cant do anything when the Chosen One is failing so hard.

You were the one throwing the insults from the very beginning.I joined it because it was fun and very easy.

Why would I envy LBJ? My life is wonderful.

Westbrook is 22.

Call me when LBJ wins a ship. Maybe he can win one when he is 38 like Jason Kidd and then defend the "best" player in the league and shut him down and have him look like a scrub.

I wasn't the one throwing insults. You are in fact a bitter LeBron hater, and we both know this. Whenever I say this you never deny it or say I'm wrong. In fact, I'd say that you sort of embrace the role.

And all Heat fans don't know what they're talking about? Wow, how were you able to talk to each and every fan?

You lash out at LeBron because of his personality but you seem to display all the qualities that you said you hated. For one, stop acting like your better than anyone else and your opinion is fact. LBJ could teach you some class, and he could help with that ego.

Put your glasses on when reading the screen  I never said the Bench stepped up, I said key players from the bench (Haslem, Miller, Chalmers) stepped up in games to give the Heat the edge in many games in the postseason. Thats more than I can say about the Thunder.

I hate debating with people that have to put words in their opposition's mouth. Its so pathetic.

Okay, I think it's important to say this. Someone being a faithful fan has absolutely nothing to do with any of this argument, and it is honestly childish to use that against people... You can't knock anyone for being a loyal and abiding fan of a team, whether it'd be the Heat or the Timberwolves.

Not to mention that OKC has made the WCF in only their 3rd year after relocating and having a dreadful 2008-2009. Their recuperation and KD's hard work simply deserves respect.

I am not a bitter Lebron hater. I do hate LBJ the player, but its very easy to hate a player who is such a narcissist like LBJ. His failures on the court just make it even better because he cant back his words up. He just chokes, chokes and chokes.

Everything I have said about LBJ and his finals performance is true. You can deny all you want, but in reality he was the weakest link on the team in the Finals. The Heat are ateamthat relies on 80% of its entire offense and defense from three players. If one falters like LBJ then it pretty much screws the team big time and is much more noticeable. Wade and Bosh werent spectacular. Wade had his moments, but the team has no bench so they need to play 100% every game. They knew that the moment they went to Miami and signed/resigned.LBJ choked. Everyone who sawthe Finalswould agree with that assessment. Well maybe not you because you are an enlightened NBA genius.

My ego is perfectly fine, but thanks for your concern. Where have I stated that I am better then anyone? Please find a single post saying that? I have always stated that LBJ is a massive egomaniac which is definitely true. Please enlighten me Dr.Jaggededge psychologist and tell me more about myself from reading my posts on gamespot.

I have been talking about the Heat bench in the finals. I don't care what they did before that. Next time be more specific because I cant read your mind. Hey keep on bringing up the Thunder. I dont care one bit. Three year old franchise that just went to the WCF. IF I am a bitter LBJ hater, then you are a bitter OKC hater just because I don't like the Heat. Im touched that you have grown to hate a team which you know nothing about just because little ole me made you mad that I dont like LBJ and the Heat. I cant think of another reason why you constantly bring up the Thunder and try to hate on a team that has become an overnight elite team in the West. I think everyone of your posts attacking me has some attack on the Thunder. It's really laughable how petty you are, but not surprising.

I hate debating with people that have no clue what they are talking about. Its not pathetic, but it is very sad.

No I just enjoy scrutinizing a team and its fanbase for no apparent reason as if I'm all knowing. Not only that, but I enjoy magnifying these faults and pinning losses on specific reasons to satify my own personal grudges.:P

I'm not a bitter OKC hater, I just think that they get 90% of the calls in their arena and that the team revolves around 2 maybe 3 guys, 2 of which aren't consistent.

You don't have to declare your better than anyone, saying this fan base knows less than you is definitely insinuating it.

LeBron was the weakest link of the big 3 maybe, but to say he was the weakest on the team is stupid. How can he be worst than our terrible bench you speak so much about?

And I'm always completely specific, you just need to make up things to aid in getting your point across.

Look hater, I mean Fizzman; I agree that LeBron's performance was at a lower caliber than he played before the finals. He wasn't terrible (except maybe that game where he had 8 points) he was just not the same aggressive beast that he was before the Finals. So basically, he slowed down. Yes I know, anyone that watched past game 1 of the NBA finals knows this.

However, I simply stated that LeBron can't be giving all the blame for the Heat losing. Especially, since the Heat were in all those games mediocre LeBron or not. I do think that the Heat need at least 2 of the Big 3 to have solid games to win, but they don't all need to be on fire to win games. Could LeBron have played better for us? Yes. Could the Heat have played better close out minutes? Yes. Could the transition defense be better than it was? Yes. I don't have a problem with stating facts. But when someone says that the Heat lost because of "X player" then it gets irksome.

Through all your little childish insults, that was the point, you seemed to lose me. Here we go, I have "no idea what I'm talking about" because I don't think the Heat lost just because LeBron didn't dominate.

I've seen you post since the beginning of the playoffs though, you've been riding on the Heat through every loss...I called you out on being a hater and you act surprised? When you hate, you get called a hater.

We can agree to disagree I don't really care, since the insults are piling up and your putting more words in my mouth; hence, your argument is getting even weaker than it already was.

If my argument is weak then you never had one.

You insulting the OKC and then trying to play it off like you are just trying to act like me is pathetic and a sad attempt to distance yourself from you hypocritical actions.

I can blame LBJ for losing though. He mentally checked out in every 4th quarter. Thats pretty big considering he is the best player in the NBA. You say that one eight point game was his worst? What about that -24 +/- in game six. Rest of the starting lineup was in the +. +/- is irrelevent in most situations, but that is damning in LBJ's case. He was just a free point machine for the Mavs when he was on the court.Wait Joel Anthony was -3.........You say "low caliber performance" He had the biggest drop in production in NBA finals history.

You are never always specific. Ohh please enlighten me grand wizard of the NBA on what I can do to further my point? LBJ had terrible stats. I pointed those out.

He got dominated by Kidd either by Kidd or his own passiveness due to his mental weakness.

He never wanted the ball in the 4th quarter.

He is a giant egomaniac which is pretty easy to spot.

Heat are a three man team. They rode that gimmick as far as they could and LBJ decided that the ECF was good enough for him. If he cant step up in the 4th quarter then the team is doomed to fail again. This goes with Wade and Bosh too since they will never have the advantage in the bench department.

How much more specific would you like me to get? You just ignore and scream la la la la la la.

I was always a LBJ hater, but the way you try to describe me as some incompetent hater who doesnt make valid points is simply not true. You may not like what I say, but please feel free to counter any of my points above. You cant, but feel free to try.

Alright, so let's sum it up in some basic, easy-to-understand points about LeBron.

  • He dissappeared completely in the Finals
  • He was not guarded by a large defensive-threat most of the series, if at all
  • LeBron receives a lot of hate because of the hype he and others have put around him, so it should be obvious why he receives more hate than Mike Miller and probably even D-Wade
  • The Heat formed a superteam of 3 stars, so it should be clear why everyone expects them to win (including this year's championship loss)
  • LeBron has difficulties when speaking to the public, through whatever source, resulting in hate because of his stupid comments

OKay, allow me to post this in bold so that your eyes don't miss it:

I agree that LeBron didn't play up to par in the NBA Finals. However, I disagree on the notion that the Heat lost because of LeBron's play.

I think this way because: Its not like the Heat were getting blown out in the games. Yes the Heat depend on production from the Big 3, but it wasn't like the Heat were down 20 points because LeBron didn't drop 20. In fact, during the game his numbers were pretty irrelevant since the Heat were completely in the game, sometimes even leading. Get the point?

You can post all the stats you want and say LeBron was contained by Kidd, he quit, blah blah blah. But the Heat were still in position to win those games. You reminded me of ESPN because the first thing they would go to is LeBron's performance as the reason for the Heat losing. Not the 9-point lead they lost with 7 mins left.

And yes I do believe that its your hate of LeBron that is leading you to believe that he was the biggest and only reason the Heat lost the series.

I always address yours points; hell I've agreed with them several times. But you just can't seem to read, hopefully the bold will help.

And I don't think you know what you are, first you said you weren't a LeBron hater? Come on dude make up your mind.

Lastly, I only insulted OKC just to illustrate how you sound. Why don't you ever address my points? You begged me to find where you said you were better than anyone, I found it and you ignore it

Yes I know this. Bullets weren't needed.

I agree with all those points and I know exactly why the Heat receive the hate they do.

But Fizzman says the Heat lost because of LeBron. I feel like thats a little immature to pin the loss all on LeBron. Thats not giving Dallas enough credit, and its stupid scrutinizing against the Heat.

LeBron's performance was one of the factors that contributed to the Heat losing, its not the reason the Heat lost.

he isnt going anywhere. This is year one of the new put together. It wouldnt make sense to fire him because they made it further than what was realistically expected.

Marion's been one of the better perimeter defenders for a while now, it's just not talked about. Even so, lebron definitely didn't play as well as he could have.

LBJ had a bad finals and his performance was the biggest reason why the team failed. Instead of getting LBJ circa ECF 2011, we got LBJ circa 2010 Boston series. A choke artist who folds when he faces any adversity.
