NCAA Football BCS National Championship: Texas v Alabama!

I'm obviously picking Texas, and it isn't just a homer pick, I truly believe we will beat Alabama. We have athletes/players just as talented if not better then they do. From a player stand point we match up well. It will all come down to our O-Line protecting Colt. Watch out for Aaron Williams and possibly Christian Scott. Anyways, I just figured I would start this thread so people could state their pick and discuss what should be a really great NC game.

If Bama goes in and plays like they did against Florida, Texas won't stand a chance. I hope they win because if they do I win the Gamespot College Bowl Pick 'em!!! ROLL TIDE!

I hope McCoy gets back in the game, without him its gonna be real hard for Texas to beat Alabama...too bad because their Defense is playing good (up till this drive where bamas gonna score).

Well, McCoy getting hurt was quite the gift for Alabama.The Texas offense so far since his absence has been a conservative approach, no way they win that way.Bobbles

they wont run up the middle against AL. mccoy or not, that won't work.

the best part about texas' offense pre-injury was their runningback. problem is that AL still had to respect the pass.

i don't think McCoy is coming back in... this is awful.

This sucks for us Alabama fans too. Don't want to beat Texas without Colt.

Sucks for Texas seeing as how McCoy isn't playing right now. This won't end pretty if Alabama scroes another TD like that just now.

I don't think Texas would have stood much of a chance even with McCoy with the way they've been running the ball.

can't believe that texas receiver dropped that TD pass....gotta catch that and help out the back up qb....that INT might have just crushed any chance Texas had.

If Texas can't score early in the second half, then this is over. I don't know if Colt would make much of a difference with how bad the Texas receivers are playing.

Texas has to score on the opening drive or its over. What a terrible game thus far. Hate to see Colt end his college career like this.

agreed. In fact, people can laugh if they want, but honeslty Texas would beating Alabama if McCoy was in the game.....dominate Alabama run game? they've scored 17 points, I'll admit it was good in the first half. but that defensive td would not have happened if McCoy was in. Texas's defense has been impressive. I am not a texas fan. I thought Alabama would win, but not with this kind of performance.

As far as the gameplay changing it's the same exact thing. Spread the field, get the ball to the wideouts, and force them to blitz and then find the holes.
