Players actually playing for something.
More come from behind wins.
More upsets.
Significantly better playoffs.
Better crowds.
I can't see how anyone likes the NBA better, most games aren't close, and the players just don't have the same intensity.

IMO I dont like watching amatuers play, and a lot of the games are low scoring, thats why I prefer the NBA. KoFoNiO
they play for 8 less minutes.
realistically, they're not amateurs, it's where all the NBA players come from.

Even though that's true, most of those players become more developed in the NBA. The only player who probably had a better NCAA career than an NBA career was Christian Lattener. I'll probably appreciate NCAAB when I go to college or something.[QUOTE="KoFoNiO"]IMO I dont like watching amatuers play, and a lot of the games are low scoring, thats why I prefer the NBA. marchmadness1012

They are amatuers by definition. If you get paid to do something, you are a professional. If you don't get paid, you're an amatuer.i havent been folloeing bball much as of latly but watching the ncaa tourny has gotten me back into like I use to love the sport. Ohio st Xavier games was one of the best games I have ever seen, the nba can't match something liek thatstephenbpronovoDid you watch Phoenix and Dallas the other night? I don't really like the NBA, but that game was pretty good. Portland/LA from last night where Kobe scored 65 was also amazing.
I agree college basketball is more entertaining and watchable than pro basketball. The NCAA tournament is also a better sporting even than the NBA playoffs (imo).Ngamer05I don't think the NBA is really even entertaining until the playoffs, even then it's nothing to march madness.

I'd rather watch the "inferior" team play over the one-man show that is the NBA any day. Ally-oops were old 5 years ago.murlow12One-man show and alley-oops? In the all-star game sure, but c'mon you sound like a hater who never watches NBA ball saying stuff like that.

NBA is better because the players are more exciting and more talented. The players do have reasons to play for and that is $$$$ money. There is intensity in the NBA especially when it's between rival teams. Just watch any Mavs vs. Suns games from the past 2 years or Mavs vs. Spurs.

The only time I like watching NCAA is when a local team is doing well. Go Bruins!Â
