I don't necessary think that the tag "America's Team" was solely down to winning. I just believe that they are like Marmite either you love em or you hate em. I don't think there are many teams like that in the NFL. Most football fans will fall into one of the two groups unlike other teams where people may just be indifferent. There simple thing is that whether the team is losing or winning they will have media attention. It will take a huge effort for another team to send more players to a pro bowl than the Cowboys did after their 13-3 season. The link below shows that despite the Cowboys lack to success in the post season in recent years NFL players want to were the star on their helmet outside their own teams.

Austin and Dallas both> San Fran. You just described every city on Earth  No, I didn't. I've never been to a city that literally smelt like those three combined just walking down the street, except in SF. Not to mention, the state of CA is bankrupt. Texas is doing pretty well though.
No idea what you're talking about and i've been there 3 years in a row, of course your state will be fine if the last president came from there. I'll never know what that place smells like since i have no reason to ever step foot in it. X360PS3AMD05Don't see what Bush has to do with it, but alright. California has enough resources to feed the country, but the state is bankrupt? Serious? It's pathetic.
What does "America's Team" mean? The biggest bandwagon team?Y2Jfan23"America's Team" was the name of a Dallas Cowboys Highlight film back in the 70s, and has become the nick name for the Cowboys.
When did America elect a team? I must have missed it.Messiahbolical-If you weren't born in the 70's then yes, you missed it.
What does "America's Team" mean? The biggest bandwagon team?Y2Jfan23That is a statement I can agree with on why Dallas is the holder of that title.
[QUOTE="Y2Jfan23"]What does "America's Team" mean? The biggest bandwagon team?Mister__AwesomeThat is a statement I can agree with on why Dallas is the holder of that title. I'm a Cowboys fan and I thought this was the reason my whole life. That thing in the 70's is something I missed. (I'm an 80's Baby)
