That was expected. I like Irvin but this season it seemed that he was being a little more fanboyish with the 'Boys. Whenever his colleagues disagrees with him, he gets a little... argumentive. My mother, a big 'Boys fan, noticed it as well.

I bid him a fare thee well and hopefully he can find a job doing something with football.

Yeah he's pretty horrible too. I don't know what's worse, hearing his biased logic or seeing his fat ass smile.

They're all biased to an extent. Salisbury is still hooked with the Panthers, Ditka always chooses "da Bears", Jaws always going with Philly, and even TJ from time to time will pick his former team, the Broncos.

It can't be cause he's too bias, cause Ditka was as bad if not worse than irvin. And to another level, neither of them are as bad as Lou Holtz and Mark May on college football. Holtz would pick Notre Dame to win against the 95 Cornhuskers, while Mark May would pick against them against a team like Monmouth, and worst of all, actually have the nerve to rationalize it by saying something stupid like "they would play the spread offense and there would be too much movement for the Notre Dame unathletic defense to keep up. I expect Monmouth to win by 2 touchdowns". Come on now, those two are horrible and they are still there. There has to be more behind the Irvin thing than just a "supposed" bias

Steve Young? He has to be the most modest of the bunch. He even placed himself as only #5 for the best SB performances, even though he arguably had the greatest one of all time. He doesn't even talk about the niners, mostly just what Joe Montana did if anything.

Wow buddy. Shows the class of Philas. Michael was the most talented guy on the desk. I will miss him. He was my favourite of all time. Im thinking it was some off camera crap that got him fired though. And jaws should be thrown on his ass before the show starts in august.

Nfl live and Nfl coutdown really they use most of their time talking and doing reports on the NFC east teams their opening drives usually always starts of with the cowboys or the giants. The ESPN NFL analyst, mostly all of them are really entertainers that do know a lot about the Xs and Os of football because most of them played before but the only serious analsts are Shlerith and Salisbury and Jaws from time to time, and you can tell because they are the only ones that appear on Sportscenter. Golic is a joke, not a analyst but a fan that analize some what from a players perspective. Overall id say NFL network and NBC did a better job than EsPN in analysing the season and games. Bill Parcells is not going to be a lot better either, and Monday night football on ESPN was nice, but get TOny Kornheiser out of that Booth!!!

Agreed. I actually was starting to like him more but he would always be completely opposite with everyone else (which isn't bad normally but his reasoning made no sense, like he didn't even know what he was talking about) and would argue and use the "since I'm loudest I'm right" approach which is a sign of lacking some common sense and respect for the people you are talking to. I hope he gets a job on NFL Network or Fox though. I think he would be good for those stations.

Seriously? I thought Kornheiser did a great job because he is a smart guy and knows enough about football to make his opinion a smart one. He was also smart enough to know when he was over his head on a subject which is a great thing to know because too many guys keep rambling when they don't know what they are talking about. He wouldn't really argue with Theisman because he knew Theisman knew more about football than he did (playing-wise mainly). I hope they keep all three guys for next year because they were great.

Yeah hes a nice personality for the spot but he jynxed the cardinals in that chicago arizona game saying that the cardinals should just sell the stadium and receed their franchise if they let the bears come back, and they did. Some of his other comments seemed a bit extreme too

The difference is that Jaws knows the game much better than Irvin.

I call bull****! While Irvin may not be as sharp in the Xs and Os, he's the only one who can explain what it FEELS like to be in those situations. He was good at putting emotions into words, and just by the way he gets into things, you can tell he was the ultimate competitor and teammate. Loyal to the end.
