Jaguars-the laughingstock of the league (sorry yokofox), finish 1-15

Meh... I was playing Madden 12 and the Jaguars made it to the Superbowl before getting squashed by the Packers. >_>

I've also played Madden 12. I remember the Jaguars had a 13-3 season I think when I was playing my franchise mode. The Jaguars should get a better gm.[QUOTE="theone86"]

You're weird. I'd also like to suggest Bills get to the SB.[QUOTE="The-Apostle"][QUOTE="theone86"]

You guys should get Brunell out of retirement, probably a better option than your current situation. It'll be just like 96, but with more grey hair.[QUOTE="yokofox33"][QUOTE="GameboyTroy"] I've also played Madden 12. I still wear his jersey. But yeah, he'd be a better option right now. Typical Jaguars luck though. Blaine Gabbert has the pre-season quarter of his life and then fractures his thumb. He'll be back for the opener apparently, but wtf.

Your mom and the Jags have something in common then. Your mom takes more sacks than Blaine Gabbert. I bet you do, too, you POS waste.

Steelers fall off big time due to age, Tomlin is on hot seat or fired, finish 7-9
theone86
People have been predicting this for the past 6 seasons...-_- When will it finally get old?!
Perhaps, but they really look it recently. Their running game is falling behind, their line is a mish-mash, their receiving depth is poor (Plaxico Burress? come on), their defense is still getting old (one of these years it's going to ring true), and I'm not really sure how long Polamalu can keep them relevant on his own.
As for the Tomlin part, I really say this because he seems to have been on the hot seat a lot as of late. Didn't the owner say another 8-8 season wasn't acceptable? I think if he goes 7-9 he's at least feeling the heat. Not to even say he deserves it, just might be a good coach caught in a bad position.
Also, margin of error. Say they sweep the Browns, pick up another win, boom, they have a winning record. I don't think it gets much better than that, though, they play some good teams and their division is getting more competitive.
The poor running game was a result of a rarely-healthy o-line. That part of the offense has been built up in earnest over the last 3 seasons, with last year's fisrt round pick actually getting real PT this season. With the installment of a new zone-blocking scheme the run game has no excuse to not be more of a factor barring injury.
One of these years? You sound like you belong on the honeymooners. lol Also, the starting defense has been getting almost a year younger each year for the past 3 years. And lol @ Polamalu keeping them relevant, he missed 9 games last season and they still had the #1 overall defense, including best pass defense.
Tomlin isn't on the hot seat. At all. Unless we go 0-16 no one will even think seriously about it.
I'll give you reciever depth, but it's not as though top flight recievers were ever a mainstay here, and with Ben at QB anybody can get open. Still, a starting 3 of Sanders, Brown, and Cotchery is respectable, And Heath Miller should be back by mid-October. Not to mention two very productive rookie wideouts.
what attendance joke? lol dude thanks for answering my questionWorst comeback ever. Jaguars attendance jokes? Be original. I make fun of my own team better than you can.
yokofox33
nothings amusing when it takes you half a day to get it. lol is this a routine thing with all jags fans? try harder to not to slurp over-used bs lines like pos waste of life btw i dont know what your problem is but i bet that sh1t is impossible to pronounceSo, what's the joke? A ticket to a Jags game means you're disabled? Worst joke I've ever heard. Try harder you POS waste of a human life.
yokofox33
I don't have a problem. I'm just having fun. You insulted my team, I fired back. Nothing more. The Jags are irrelevant, so I don't know what satisfaction you get from making fun of them, but whatever.
And I got the joke, it was just so terrible that it befuddled me. As if calling an entire fanbase disabled is humorous somehow.

It got old last season and it's getting even older. The Steelers need to rebuild. That's a fact. whats getting old is Todd Haley's "dink and dunk" offense. you don't do that with a qb like big ben. you just don't.[QUOTE="0diN_7"][QUOTE="TheGrat1"]It got old last season and it's getting even older. Has he changed since then? have you not heard a single person talking about the steelers? or how mad mike wallace (understandably) was with the play calling?
@starwarsjunky: The offense has "reportedly" been expanded over the offseason and Ben is said to be happier with it. I'll believe it when I see it.
@monkeytoes: Yes, it was pretty dink and dunk last season. The prevailing opinion was that pressure was put on Haley to design a shorter passing game to compensate for our suspect o-line.
