No biggie, the Saints have enough players to field 4 or 5 NBA teams.

He's getting up there in years and his salary is becoming prohibitive for a team that's stocked at the position. Some team will probably pick Shockey up for a short-term fix.

Hasn't Winslow been injured like two years in a row? He had 884 yards in 09 but didn't play in 10, I could swear he was injured but it doesn't say anything.

My bad, he had 730 yards. That's really not all that bad. It's not Tony Gonzales play by any means, but not bad. Tight ends are usually role players in an offense, you go to them on short downs and as checkdowns. If your tight end has a ton of yards, a lot of times it means your other recivers aren't getting open. In 09 Tampa's receivers were atrocious, last year they really stepped their game up.

For a comparison, in 09 Winslow had 77 receptions for 884 yards, in 10 he had 66 receptions for 730 yards. His YPC each year was about 11. If you extrapolate the yards he would haave had if he had gotten 10 more receptions he would've finished with 840 yards, practically the same number as in 09. He didn't disappear, they just targeted him less.
