Last Week-10-6

Overall-107-69

Jets @ Bills-This one's tough to call. I keep talking about Buffalo being pick-happy and Sanchez is a pick-machine this season. Still, Buffalo's rushing attack has slowed down while New York's has sped up. The Bills' passing attack also hasn't been great lately, and New York has a pretty damn good pass D. I take New York in a close one. This is my sleeper of the week. Jets 24-23

Rams @ Bears-I almost want to call an upset here because Jackson is a beast and I don't know how well we can stop him. Still, he's beat up and we should be able to stop Kyle Boller. Bears 24-13

Lions @ Bengals-Bengals 34-9

Buccaneers @ Panthers-Another almost upset. The Bucs defense has a good number of picks, Jake Delhomme has been throwing a good number of picks, but so have the Bucs' QBs. The difference here, Tampa doesn't have the rushing attack Carolina does. Panthers 24-20

Raiders @ Steelers-Steelers 27-13

Saints @ Redskins-No upset this week. Washington's passing D gives the Saints an early scare, but they don't have the offense to stay in this one. Saints 24-13

Patriots @ Dolphins-Dolphins just haven't been the same since Pennington went down, Belicheck is going to have the answer to whatever the Phins throw at him. Patriots 27-20

Eagles @ Falcons-Atlanta's D let's them down again. Eagles 27-17

Titans @ Colts-VY and Chris Johnson play well against the Colts, but they just don't have the D to stop Peyton Manning. Colts 27-24 GOTW

Broncos @ Chiefs-Broncos 24-13

Texans @ Jaguars-Which defense is more overmatched, the Texans' run D or the Jaguars' pass D? I'll go with the latter and take the former. Texans 23-20

Chargers @ Browns-Chargers 30-12

Cowboys @ Giants-Everyone's been so high on the Cowboys lately, but they've won and lost in some close games. The Giants may be down, but their pass D should be able to hassle Romo enough to win. Giants 23-17

49ers @ Seahawks-This is a game made for the Niners, one that comes down to rushing where they can dominate on both sides of the ball. They lag in passing, but they pull it out. 49ers 13-10

Vikings @ Cardinals-Defense wins Superbowls, but let's hope there's an exception for the hated Vikes this season. Defense will win them this game, though. Vikings 27-23

Ravens @ Packers-Close game, but Rodgers beats out Flacco in this one. This is my upset of the week. Packers 23-20

Michael Vick scores a TD at the Gerogia Dome. Kinda funny when you think about it.

Too bad Ryan's not playing.

For some reason, the Redskins always play well against the Saints. Reminds me of the 06 season when we were mediocre but we beat the Saints at the Superdome.

That Bears' win has got to be the most pathetic win I've seen in a while, worse than the Cleveland game. We better gut the coaching staff after this season.

WTF is with Miami and Oakland both scoring late in the 4th? I go from having possibly only two losses to now probably having four.

YES! Saints are alive!

Suisham misses again?!

Even though I think Zorn is a terrible coach, I feel sorry for him if Brees ties the game.

At times I think the Steelers look better than they did last year, and then at other times I think they're not even looking like a playoff team.

Pats love giving games away, literally it feels like every week Brady is throwing an interception in the red zone/endzone. :|

Pats are losing a ton close games, Belichik should maybe stop going on 4th down every time and start kickin some field goals

Do not give the ball to Brees at the last two minutes.

Right, the supposed genius who can't figure out that going for it on fourth down in field goal range with a kicker with great range adds up to a lot of missed points.

I know the skins let Saints back in the game and all, but what a horrible, horrible call in overtime by the ref. How do you overturn a call like that when it's so damn close?

Can't do it...

Haha, no it wasn't. Whatever they called as the initial call should have been what they stayed with as there was no evidence that it was or wasn't a fumble. The ref butchered that call.

yea, if there is no conclusive evidence the play just can't be overturned, and that was certainly not conclusive, especially for a big time play like that

Ugh, no it wasn't. Read the whole post, that's the rule. Nothing in that play was clear so nothing should have been changed.
