I'm not too worried. They did bad against a better team (Miami) two weeks ago. They can come back, its early.
I hate hearing the analysts talk up the Cardinals players like they had such a good game. Our defense's crap play made them look better. Beanie Wells can't get a 100 yard game all season, then he does it against the Bears, it's not that hard to figure what led to that.

Messiahbolical-
I'm not complaining about the loss, I'm just sayingI don't like hearing the other teams' players getting talked up so much when really a lot of it was just us making them look better.
And how about those Giants? Not the most auspicious way to start a big game.
So far:
So far:
- Green Bay is terrible losing to the Bucs.
- My Redskins are dead. I didn't even bother watching the game because we are one of the worst teams in the NFL right now. There is not motivation to win games.
- The Bears are terrible. Which team will show up.
- The Cardinals are also strange. They go from winning big, to losing big back to winning. Good thing their division isn't that good.
- The Bengals are for real and if I'm the Steelers, I'd be worried.
- The Patriots win to no ones surprise.

I don't know if the Cardinals are all that strange, if you pressure Warner consistently and stop the run you'll force them into comeback situations. The Bears did neither effectively. No matter how good your QB, you can't be consistent without at least a decent run game and the Cards haven't been able to run against most opponents. They fix that and they can be consistent, but until then they'll continue to be up and down.
Wisenhunt pulled out a pretty nice Dennis Green impression, made me chuckle.
The Bears are terrible...I've given up hope that they'll make the playoffs (which I probably should have done after the Cincy game). Even last week when the Bears won by 24 points they looked really bad....if they were playing just about anyone but the Browns they would have probably lost. JML897
The SNF Crew is trashing the Bears. Bob Costas, "The Bears go to San Francisco, a game they should lose." And he couldn't have said it more matter-of-factly. Don't get me wrong, they deserve it, just thought it was slightly entertaining.
Awesome! The Bucs won! And so did the Falcons! And the Cardinals too!
If Miami won as well, it would have been the perfect sunday, but whatever, 3/4 of my teams winning is good enough for me.
You have 4 favorite teams?Y2Jfan23
Yep. The Bucs and Dolphins because they're the local teams, the Cardinals because of Warner and Fitzgerald, and the Falcons (my #1 favorite) because... well... I don't know, I've just always really liked that team. :P
the niners make me mad. They win, until the last quarter. then its interceptionvilleFree_Marxet
Yeah, I couldn't believe that. I just hope they keep it up at least for another week, then they can go back to being dominant like they were for the first few weeks.

Yeah me too, that just sounds weird.[QUOTE="Mister__Awesome"]Patriots @ Indianapolis next week, definitely game of the week.Seabas989
It's always entertaining to see these two teams play against each other. It will be very interesting to see if the Colts can stay undefeated.
It will be interesting, Patriots can defend the lone 16-0 season this year with the game next week @ IND and week 12 @ NO should they stay unbeaten. I believe they will play extra hard to preserve that undefeated 16-0 2007 season.Yeah me too, that just sounds weird.mattykovax
I find it wierd how anyone could like just ONE team. I mean, there are 32 teams. What if you're ONE team sucks this season and doesn't make it to the playoffs? Are you just going to stop caring about football for the rest of the season and hope they don't suck next year? Having more than one team to root for on a Sunday just makes things more interesting IMO.
Besides, I don't like them all equally.... I would rank them as: 1. Falcons, 2. Bucs, 3. Dolphins (they were #1 for me when Marino was QB), 4. Cardinals

Because I was born and raised a fan of my teams. And they have a term for people who root for good teams whne the home team is bad its called "bandwagoner" or "fair weather fan". Yes there are teams other than the pats I like to watch. In fact to me the game of football is more important and larger than my team. But they are the only team I root for,and they will be the only team. Same with the sox and the celtics.[QUOTE="Seabas989"][QUOTE="Mister__Awesome"]Patriots @ Indianapolis next week, definitely game of the week.Mister__Awesome

Still they do have a shot to win both games.

There are teams I like because of philosophy, like the Steelers, the Ravens before their defense started to get shaky, and the Bengals more recently, the fact that they're all NFC Northers is pure happenstance, and in the playoffs there are teams I like more than others, but I only have one favorite team. To me Bears>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All others, any preferences I have for other teams are secondary to my loyalty to them.

Are you calling me a bandwagoner? Do you see the undefeated Saints or the Colts in my list of favs? No. Do you even see the Vikings or the Steelers or the Patriots in my list of favs? No again. Sure the Cardinals were in the Super Bowl last year, but they're not great this year, and yet I still like them. I've always liked them, but Warner and Fitzgerald made them better and actually made them fun to watch play.
Yes there are teams other than the pats I like to watch. mattykovax
And yet you won't go as far as considering yourself a fan of these teams too? Why? Just because you don't like them as much as the Patriots doesn't mean you can't be fans of them too....
You can't like more than one team.rockguy92
That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. That's like saying you can't like anymore than one type of car. "Sorry, I can't like any cars made by Porsche or Ferrari, since I've already dedicated myself to liking the products of ONE car company: Lamborghini"
I take it from your sig and avatar that you're a Broncos fan? So I'm guessing that you live in or near Colorado, right? If so, then no offense, but there is only ONE team in that area, so of course you would like only one team. You wouldn't understand where I'm coming from. Try growing up in a part of the country where you're near 4 teams (ATL, TB, MIA, and JAX in my case). A bit harder to like just 1 one team and abandon all the others in this case (although I do hate the Jags....)
