They say Kovalchuck is going to the KHL?X360PS3AMD05
Ya, that's a possibility since they would pay him more. They would love that big a star leaving the NHL for them. They also think that he might go there because the NHL may not go to the next Olympics, and going to the KHL would let him play in them, in his home country.
EDIT: I know I said Washington, but I'd love to see an upset, especially by a Canadian team.

That'd be great, considering EVERYONE thought the Caps would make meat out of the Canadians

Not everyone, only people who are ignorant about the Canadiens. This season, they went 2-1-1 against the Caps. Why? Because the Canadiens is a team that plays always well against fast, finesse teams. They struggle against teams that grinds out games.
I don't get tired of seeing the Caps lose.
Welp, Pens vs. Habs, Bruins vs. Flyers in the Eastern Semis. I don't think anyone expected that when the playoffs started.
Semin disappeared again.

Russians player disappears in the playoffs. It may sound a bit racist, but its an actual trend in the NHL. There's a reason why you see sometime Russian players leaving to play in their own country. They just dont care as much about the Stanley Cup like North-Americans do.

The earlier guys did, Pavel Bure, Igor Larionov, Sergei Zubov, Sergei Federov...Whats with this new breed???
If that happens I would laugh soooooooooo hard, because NBC would have to cover it. I'm surprised that they're showing a Pens v Mtl game in the second round. They hate Canada so much.In your face Capitals! Go Montreal! Stanley Cup final: Vancouver vs Montreal. (Would love to see that)

I would say I agree. I dont think they will roll through the round.Having Savard back is the key, Boston should roll through this series in either 5 or 6 games. Philly is missing Carter, Gagne, and Laperriere. Not to mention Brian Boucher is not the great of a goaltender.

[QUOTE="Mkavanaugh77"][QUOTE="blackngold29"] Can't argue with that!rmerri52Word, the most exciting competition in any sports imo I agree and the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy to earn IMO.
The College Basketball National Championship and the SuperBowl are harder to win IMO. Its do or die every single game in those. But in terms of 4 out of 7 series like in the NBA and the MLB, the NHL is clearly superior. And yes I know the MLB has a 3 out of 5 in the first round, but you get what I mean.

Hey Hey, I did say "should" roll, not they "will" roll
Great save by Pronger.
I'd be happy if Boston can take one in Phily

Well they did, I TOLD you Boston had the ability to roll through this series! Philly is not as good as Buffalo especially with two top scorers missing.I was disappointed that the Wachovia Center wasn't rocking as it usually is. Very surprising.
Habs are showing some fight, tying up the series with the Pens 2-2.
Looks like Habs and Pens are gonna have a game 7!Mkavanaugh77I can't freakin' believe it, this is going to be a very heated game!
