Having Percy Harvin become a Patriot is would be amazing, but Belichick won't even sniff him if he wants a lot of money.

Cap reasons. Team wouldn't have a shot at signing Spencer if they didn't do the extension. Thankfully NFL contracts are not guaranteed.http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/8941049/dallas-cowboys-sign-tony-romo-long-term-extension Poor Cowboy fans.

Jets have ten players taking up 110 million in cap space .
Johnny Knox retires from football at the age of 26 .

[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"][QUOTE="Chutebox"]He wants Calvin Johnson/Fitz money. He is injury prone, no way I'd give him anywhere near that and if I was niners I wouldn't even bother.Rumors circulating that niners are gonna land Percy Harvin

Even without the injuries he's not on par with Johnson and Fitz just yet. Â He's asking too much money when he hasn't proven he can be an all-around number one. Â Some team like Cleveland or Miami is going to overpay for him, a team like the Niners isn't.

Seahawks have a huge season in front of them. I haven't seen their opponents (or don't remember), but 12-4 or 13-3 is definitely not out of the question, especially is Russell takes even more strides in year two and avoids the "Matt Ryan" sophomore slump.monkeytoes61Or Cammy.Â

Gronk's awesome. F*ck as boring as New England players have been. with their by the book, one game at a time shpeal, but assh*lish behavior when they are on the field? Gronk is a blessing. He's like the one patriot with a personality, and it's entirely that of a meathead. He's like a modern day caveman or something. He's f*cking awesome considering how politically correct and boring the NFL has gotten with some of its personalities over the last few years. Also, starting to like Gronk!

I have no clue how accurate or similar this is to what NFL players take, but I enjoyed this sample wonderlic test. Â I initially scored a 30 but was able to bump it up to a 40 on my second attempt.
First offense. Probably one year out of the league max. (hopefully) Also, I dont get why Goodell thinks he has jurisdiction over something that happened when technically wasn't in the league.Well it was nice knowing ya kid.

Falcons going to release Michael Turner (not surprising).
Eagles asking Nnamdi to restructure contract or be released.
Richard Sherman proving what an idiot he is for picking a fight with D. Revis for some reason.
Cowboys fired Rob Ryan for using too many schemes (can't make that up, love JJ!).
Sherman p. much won that twitter spat as soon as Revis bashed Sherman for not having as much followers.Falcons going to release Michael Turner (not surprising).

I wish Sherman would keep his trash talk to the field. I'm not a fan of Twitter feuding, it reeks of junior high level pettiness.
I like Sherman, but he's acting like Interceptions win the argument for him. INT's are not a good indicator of if a CB is good or not. Asante Samuel had 5 plus picks a bunch of times and he's never been anything more than an above average cornerback who gambled a lot. Not saying that Sherman isn't great, he's easily a top 2 corner with Revis but the interception argument is weak.-Halftime-This, all the homer Seahawks fans around here think that Sherman is better solely based on comparing INT numbers. Great CBs often don't get INTs because they have their guy covered so well, the QB doesn't even dare throw their way.

We've had several CBs in Chicago like that. Â I remember one year I think it was Zack Bowman who had like seven interceptions and everyone thought he was a franchise player, but the problem was he would jump routes and when he missed it would go twenty yards in the other direction. Â I'm gald we have players now that can cover well and get a ton of picks.
^Nathan Vasher's another. I think it was the SB year where he went to the Pro Bowl because of his INT stat and then he was garbage after that year.
To be honest I wouldn't be completely surprised to see something similar happen to Tim Jennings. He led the league in INTs but he would also get burned pretty bad at times.

Yeah, I was thinking it might be Vasher I'm thinking of. Â I don't think Bowman ever had as big an INT stat as Vasher had that one year, but they were still talking him up for a good two or three years. Â The thing with Vasher was I believe he was playing at nickel back and people were talking as if he could start on the outside, lawl.
Jennings, though, I'll defend until he screws up. Â For one, he was a better cover corner before he was a pick monster, in fact the knock on him coming into this season was that he could swat passes but never turned them into picks. Â Two, they'll match him up against shorter receivers like Steve Smith and he does a decent job. Â Not as good as Tillman does on the big guys like Megatron, but pretty good nonetheless. Â Three, he's a tough tackler and he can knock the ball out. Â And lastly, I'll take him over most other cornerbacks in the league, especially as a second corner in a system that doesn't rely on corner as a key position like Ryan's in New York. Â Even if he's not as good as the top-tier corners in the league he's cheaper than them and can play better than most of the other second corners. Â Most of the teams that have two amazing corners run into salary problems anyways, and it doesn't even net them a championship.Â
Rumors are that Alex Smith will be traded to the Chiefs at the beginning of the league year. Â Will be interesting to see how this shakes up the draft now that we persumably know Geno Smith isn't going #1.
I think it was a consensus that Jochkel from A&M was going #1. Which I don't get because you don't build a team around a tackle. You need playmakers.Rumors are that Alex Smith will be traded to the Chiefs at the beginning of the league year.
