Penny?
Yup.
From the article:
Making Bryant the highest-paid player in the NBA over the next two seasons is, objectively, not a smart thing. He's 35 years old, and he has not played a single minute of in-game basketball after suffering a traumatic injury that has devastated nearly every player who has suffered it and managed to stay in the league.
Bryant is taking a slight pay cut here, since he's earning north of $30 million this season, but he did not take a team-friendly discount on the levels of Tim Duncan, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and even LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh in Miami.
The True Hollywood Story of Kobe's Crippling Contract
And that is that.
Those look sweet :D
But seriously, Adidas suck as a basketball shoe manufacturer. Maybe Nike can sway Derrick to switch sides if Derrick continues to get hurt.
Superb game tonight, Pacers at Heat 7:00pm ET on ESPN.
Is James playing?
Anyway, Bulls need a win BAD in Houston tonight.
ESPN says yes.

And there's nobody at the game... For shame, Miami. For shame.
Was just about to comment on that, what the heck? Where is the people?

It'll fill up a little when all the cuban stragglers and south beach sluts show up midway in the 2nd quarter.
Just came in here to laugh at the dubs! lmfao. Pop owned Stern again, go ahead and send another fine you waste. Warriors lose at home to Spurs C team. LOL. I LOVE IT!
Kobe to miss 6 weeks(fracture in left knee)
Called it. Knew he would rush it.
So what are your thoughts on his 2 year $48m extension?
Reports state Lakers are looking forward towards the 2015 FA summer, conceding there was a slim chance that LeBron was going to sign with LA this summer. So Lakers decided to keep their legend happy and fringe compete for the playoffs for the next 2 seasons. Which is why it was Kobe who voluntarily should had said he was taking a paycut just like LeBron/Bosh/Wade did so Lakers had more money to sign FA. Since he didn't, the Lakers so no upside in upsetting Kobe. Summary: Contract is good for Kobe, bad for the Lakers.
Dwight dominated Drummond. My god that was beautiful. Offense ran through him and his post moves have been effective.
Rockets need to get healthy. ..

Lakers should had Amnestied Kobe.
@Master_Live: yeah, I've been able to stay up with the fantasy league but not much else.
Rockets have been snake bitten this year with so many injuries. Only healthy one, ironically enough, has been our 'injury prone' Dwight.
NBA has been fun this year, so much growth from so many young players in smaller markets. My general rule is whatever team has LeBron are favorites, but the Pacers look so good this year.
Portland is a surprise.
Oh yeah, wish the Rockets stopped losing to shifty teams.

I know there's a lot of injuries, but the Eastern Conference has been awful.
The Trailblazer being good means bad things for the Rockets.
@PSP107: yeah, the East is a joke. Atlantic division is the worst in recent memory. As I say every year, the top 16 team regardless of conference should go to playoffs. Sad that there may be 2-3 under .500 team that make it in the East and 3-5 over .500 teams won't make it in the west.
@PSP107: You're a slowbro...
I knew it for awhile but just wondering why nobody posted here.
Because the Nets are irrelevant and Jason Kidd is a terrible coach, wife beater, and drunk.
Seriously though, tough break (no pun intended) for Lopez. Good player.

Though break is the right phrase if you were the many expecting a entertaining Eastern Conference.
Dwight goy every Rocket a rolex. He's been nothing less than Awesome so far.
Anyone notice both Dwight and Griffin improved their FT shooting?
Dwight is nearly 60% after shooting less than 50% last year. Blake is nearly 70%
@PSP107: earns more money with the Rockets this year than he would have with the Lakers. Thank you tax laws.
@PSP107: that number is inaccurate. A majority of that '30m' was from his 5th year for the Lakers that wasn't a part of his Rocket's contact.
Through the first 4 years (Actually 3 since Dwight Howard will likely opt out after year 3) he makes more in Houston.
