I'd say Heat w/ Bosh. If Bosh does not return then I'd say thunder.
I'm tempted to say Heat, regardless of bosh, given how good wade and james have played, but i just do not feel those two can carry that team for a full seven game series agaisnt the spurs.
I'd say the Thunder. Celtics don't have enough firepower and the Heat is a top heavy team, and the Spurs are great at taking away things you want to do during the part of the game, look at Chris Paul.
I didn't really watch any of that series, but I read a number of times that Paul was injured for the entirety of those games. Was that overplayed, to give the Clippers an excuse for losing; or was he really so injured that he didn't play very well, or often?I'd say the Thunder. Any of those 3 teams, healthy, can beat the Spurs. Master_LiveI can't see Boston being able to beat the Spurs.
Spurs would boat race the Celtics. Too bad you can't prove it.[QUOTE="Master_Live"]Any of those 3 teams, healthy, can beat the Spurs. DroidPhysX

What? Nobody can ever prove anything (in sports), that is why they are called predictions.
On topic though, I think that the winner of the western finals will win the championship. So Thunder have the best chance.
I left out the 76ers because I do not think they can get pass Boston.EricaSpencer777I don't know. I doubt the 76ers would get the past the Heat but the Celtics are the Celtics, inconsistent as all hell.

If the Celtics were healthier I would say they have a chance but Ray Allen is gimping around the court and the truth is is that they're old. the Spurs are old too but they're healthy. I would have to say the Thunder have the biggest chance whether Miami has Bosh or not. OKC is a more well rounded team and Durant and Westbrook have been putting up some good numbers. Miami is way too inconsitent and whether you like it or not it's bound to show up again especially when the pressure is on them. They can't close out a game to save their lives when it's a close game and the Spurs would keep it close. No matter how you look at it it's nice to have Star players but if everyone else sucks it takes away from the teams performance. The Spurs have very solid players all the way around and I think that outlasts a having a couple stars scoring 75% of the teams points. Spurs are way too much of a defensive power to allow Wade and James to put up the numbers they've been putting up against the Pacers.

I'm sure it had some reason to do with it, but I think that really it is overblown. Paul is a tough dude.
Great points but people must remember that the Spurs don't lock up teams like say the Chicago Bulls. The Spurs were 17th in FG% in the regular season and had plenty of games where they've had to outscore the other team. And the problem with the Heat closing out games is that they give the ball to Lebron in the 4th quarter when it should be in Wades' hands and when it's in Wade's hands, good things often happen i.e. Games 3 and 4 vs Pacers. I'll still pick the Spurs to win it all but I won't be shocked if they lose in the Conference Finals or NBA Finals. I can't wait though, this season has been fun and I wish the NBA season was always 66 games since the games are more important. If the Celtics were healthier I would say they have a chance but Ray Allen is gimping around the court and the truth is is that they're old. the Spurs are old too but they're healthy. 66 games would be fine as long as they spread them out. The intense schedule this year was awful.
Of course, I should have mentioned that too. The schedule was pretty OP this year and in my opinion was part of the reason why many key players got injured i.e. Derrick Rose (who only missed three games prior to this season), Ricky Rubio, Chauncey Billups, and Iman Shumpert to name a few. But as long as it's spread out then I think it would be pretty cool. Please Log In to post.
