After beating the Lakers in game #2, Paul Peirce said the series WILL NOT be coming back to LA, basically saying that the Celtics will win the next 3 games which are in Boston.

Today during the game 3 shootaround, a reporter asked Fisher what he thought about Peirces comments about the series not comign back to LA.

http://www.twitvid.com/G0DAL

That response from Fisher cracked me up haha.

In a way i was like cool, most would be afraid of saying something like that, but if he really believes that he must be crazy, this is going at least 6 regardless of who wins.

The odds are that the Celtics will win 3 straight games now? Hell no.

Didn't Pierce say the same thing about the Orlando series? Given he hasn't exactly been light's out the first two games. (One good 4th quarter in game 1 when the game was already out of reach) He may want to back off giving inspiration to the Lakers.

Oh please, the C's have everything and then some to do it. It will most likely end in 6 but it is not impossible for it to end in 5.

The Celtics will not win 4-1 in this series, no way that will happen and you know it.

The Celtics have EVERYTHING and THEN SOME to win the series.. but not win it 4-1 thats just crazy.

Kobe and Gasol will not let the Celtics win games 2,3,4 and 5 in a row.

Peirce is just trying to talk some trash to get under the Lakers skin.

 It is possible to do it and you know it. To assume that it is impossible is just crazy. Be honest, anything can happen and that includes the C's winning the next 3 games. You can say Allen, KG and Pierce wont allow it to go back to LA, but those are just words.

It's also possible that all the oxygen in the western hemisphere could move to the eastern hemisphere, thus asphyxiating everyone who lived on that side of the world. It's not probable, though. The Celtics winning all three games at home is also very improbable. Twice in 25 years has the home team won all three games in a 2-3-2 series. I'm not saying the Lakers will win the series, but I believe at least one more game will be played in Staples Center.

And what does what you posted have to do with this? Zero. The FACT remains it is possible and the C's are capable, Kozzy is saying its impossible which it is not.

It is impossible for this current Lakers team to get beat 4-1 in this series imo.

Acting like Celtics winning the next 3 games could happen is silly.

Its just not happening.

Yup, was a horrible prediction on his part thinking they would win 4 games to 1, and anyone else who thought Peirce had the odds to win 4-1

It's also because he said the same against Orlando after going 2-0 on the road and then they lost once at home.

Peirce proven wrong again. Hes my fav player on the celtics but these horrible predictions need to stop

The celtics had horrible odds to beat the Lakers 4 games to 1, he needs to just worry about playing the games.

I think we're close to a Ron Burgendy "You should stop talking now champ" comment to Paul Pierce with his predictions. Honestly? Pierce has been beyond atrocious this series. Talk about not backing your play up. At least KG submitted a great effort. Pierce submitted another no-show for the series to back up his Nostradamus act.

its not 2008-2009, you guys didnt get anyone better, Artest is garbage. Ariza was decent. Magic switched Hedo for Carter which is at least reasonable.

What's all this about Pierce being wrong? What he said so far is still a possibility, just not how he figured. I'll laugh if this series doesn't return to LA like drama queen said.

In Paul's defense (and I'm not saying this because I'm a Celtics fan), I would probably say the same thing to hype myself up.

I don't see anything wrong with being cocky about anything pertaining to the sport.

That's possible, but even if I thought that I wouldn't say it publicly. It's bulletin board material similar to when Amare said that Odom had a "lucky" game in the Conference Finals against Phoenix. True or not, there are certain things you just don't publicly say.

My point is he said his team was going to do it. He never said I'm going to do it all by myself.
