I never understood why the Colts wanted Kerry Collins...What ever happened to Jeff Garcia?
SilentSoprano
He's 41 and hasn't thrown a pass since 2008.

He'd still probably be better than Kerry Collins.

I expected a better performance thanthat from Kerry Collins, seriously. He was in the Pro-Bowl in 2008.And its not like he doesn't have any offensive weapons around him.
And no....Jeff Garcia would not have fared better.
it isnt Collins fault the oline couldnt protect him and it sure as heck isnt his fault the defense couldnt hold anyone that day. Kerry doesnt deserve most of the rip hes getting. The Colts should of just went with "the Painter" since hes been the backup for so long. The move the Colts made I dont like.
Future QBs will think twice before coming to this organization because of how they treated the backup that has learned from the great Peyton Manning.
Anyone have the feeling that this could be a career ender? I'm probably digging into it a little too much, but that's the hunch I'm getting given the news always seems to get worse.

Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest.
