Haha, C Webb. It's a shame he never got a ring, but he is awesome on TV. He is always cracking up and burying his head into the desk because of how hard he is laughing.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ5Hw4sPK2g

So did MJ ever score 8 points in a finals series game? Or completely disappear in the 4th quarter in the Finals?
Nice try, Pippen. I hope he doesn't live in Chicago, because he should seriously be BANNED from that city.

Go Heat
even though we are going to lose
Darth_Revan_666
Is that an attempt to reverse jinxing? :P
didn't work...MIchael Jordan was unstoppable on offense and also the best defensive guard ever-Halftime-The thing is Gary Payton is a better defender then Jordan and held him in check when the played. During the finals against Jordan GP held Jordan to a career low finals shooting percentage of 41%. Jordan still scored over 20 a game but he had to work for it every single possession.
Jordan > Lebron on topic simply because Jordan has a desire to win and Lebron doesn't.

Out off everything you can criticize him for, you're bringing up this? Really?

When the pressure is at its highest he chokes. This is what seperates players from the very good to elite. I don't think he even cares honestly. The way he has played in the 4th quarter in the series against dallas has been absolutely pathetic. He dissappears. Not only that but he lacks leadership. Look at Dirk. He criticized his team and challenged them to play better after Miami went up 2-1 in the series. Why didn't Lebron do the same thing when he was in Cleveland when he got the finals against the Spurs or when he played against the Celtics and the Magic during the playoffs ? Jordan would never let his team choke in the finals. It wasn't for Jordan Pippen wouldn't have even been as good as he was because Jordan was relentless in practice against him.[QUOTE="Darth_Revan_666"]

LeBron took less money to join a better team in hopes to win championships. And you say that he doesnt have the desire to win? WTF? And statictically speaking, LeBron James has been extremely efficient late in games when he was with Cleveland. Better than Kobe or Wade. Its only this year that he seemed to be struggling late in games. The only thing he needs to do differently to make the haters shut up is to go to the rim and get free throws late in games. Thats how he's efficient and clutch. But he's been either badly coached or has been lately too confident in his jumpshots this year. Besides, clutch has nothing to do with the desire to win. Most of the NBA players have the desire to win, but simply aren't clutch.
LeBron is more Pippen the Jordan.
Dwade is more Jordan then LeBron is.
LeBron isn't in the top 25 of all time imo.
Jordan never had a finals game where he score 8 points
Jordan never lost in the Finals
Jordan, Magic, Bird, Isiah, Kobe, Wilt, Russell, etcwould never have joined with each other to take a short cut to a title.
Lebron is no where near Jordan. He's no where near Magic, Bird, Kobe, Wilt, Moses, Kareem, West, Russell, Oscar, etc either.

LeBron is not Top 25? And how joining a team with a bunch of NBA D-League players is a shortcut to a championship? Stop talking out of your asses, seriously.

He joined a team with a Finals MVP from the past 5 years and another allstar. Jordan wouldn't have joined the Celtics. Magic wouldn't have joined the Pistons. How can you not think he took a shortcut? The NON shortcut road would be to stay in cleveland and win one there. And 25 players who's total career is better then LeBrons to this point? Sure here you go:
Jordan, Bird, Magic, Oscar, Wilt, Russel, Kareem, Duncon, Shaq, West, Hakeem, Pippen, Kobe, Isiah, Garnett, Dirk, Bayler, Barkley, Stockton, Cousy, Moses, Karl Malone, Halvicek,Dr. J, Petitt.
There you go. Even if you wanna say LeBron is top 25, hes not top 15 or anything crazy like that. Jordan is number 1. LeBron isn't holding Jordan's jock right now.

While I won't comment on his rank all-time, his team was more than adequate. If the Heat wanted more solid role players, then maybe they shouldn't have gotten three players at their max contracts.[QUOTE="Darth_Revan_666"][QUOTE="SpideR_CentS"]

While I won't comment on his rank all-time, his team was more than adequate. If the Heat wanted more solid role players, then maybe they shouldn't have gotten three players at their max contracts. His team was not adequate. They had nobody who could score in the low spot on a consistent basis. Mo Williams was and still is an average player. The gameplan was give Lebron the ball and let him do what he wants. They didn't take max contracts. They actually took less money so they could play in one team. LeBron, Wade and Bosh this season made $14,500,000 each. To put that in perspective Kobe made $25,000,000. They overpaid for Mike Miller though and are stuck with him for 3 years. The team was still under the luxury tax.
If Lebron really cared about winning a championship he wouldn't have scored 8 points in a finals game. He was passing wide open shots. He was passing before he even looked at the rim. He didn't want to do anything with the ball. He is afraid of pressure. Also In the final quarter of the last game as a Cavalier against the Celtics you could see his body language that he didn't care anymore. The free throws wouldn't help him. He is not a good free throw shooter.

I thought we were talking about the Heat team this year and if they were adequate. If so, I would still say yes.
On the contract part, I was off, but Kobe makes more because of his time in the league and with the same team, I believe. So I don't think that comparison is fair. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Either way, Wade, James and Bosh decided to team-up together and knew how that would play into the team's payroll. So what's the issue? Again, if the Heat wanted to have more solid role players then they should not have picked-up one of the big 3.

Well, this year Miller and Haslem were injured throughout the entire year and the playoffs included for Miller anyway. James Jones was injured and was ready to play against Dallas but their coach didn't want to play him which sucks because he is great against the zone Dallas uses. Ilgauskes is still good. He had a never had a chance to play. He could have kept Tyson Chandler outside of the paint because he can midrange shots and threes which would have let Wade and Lebron attack the basket more. Chalmers really stepped it up in the finals. They had the players but their coach didn't want to play them and or were injured a lot.If Lebron really cared about winning a championship he wouldn't have scored 8 points in a finals game. He was passing wide open shots. He was passing before he even looked at the rim. He didn't want to do anything with the ball. He is afraid of pressure. He passed the ball a lot probably because he lost confidence in his ability to shoot. And its also can be interpreted as a selfless and team-first attitude to let another star like Bosh or Wade to make plays instead. So stop twisting facts just to fuel you're pre-conceptions about LeBron. And he wasn't afraid of the pressure, he was taking clutch shots against Boston and Chicago all series long. Also, give some credit to that Mavs defense that managed to shut him down so well FFS. Chicago and Boston couldnt even do that. They won the championship in 1 of the most amazing playoff runs in history. And you guys thinks you know better and puts all the attention on LeBron because he played bad. Well guess what, Wade and Bosh weren't any better in these Finals. So get over it and stop spoiling what might be the single most entertaining season ever. Jerks.
