I think the system we have now is fine. The NL and AL have their little separate things about them.

DH is good for baseball best league in Baseball? the AL . wich has the biggest teams? AL. Yankees, Redsox top 2 markets in what league? Wich has DH? People talk about the Devil Rays just cause there a bad team even though theres worst teams in the NL why? cause there in the AL. What does the AL have? "Designated Hitting" . one can even argue one of the main reasons the Braves lost so many World Series games going so many times can be attributed to a lack of established DH. when they went they had to play either 3 to 4 games with a Position they havn't had all year, they put some skinny guy to be DH (anythings betetr than a pitcher right?) and all the AL team had to do was put there DH in a postion(1B or outfield) and he would still be in the game. If DH is giving the AL an unfair advantage then it eneds to be changed. But i think maybe back when that rules was made it was made to favor the AL in the Worldseries games.

What on God's green earth are ou talking about? There's no way to correlate the stuff you're talking about, besides the fact that you're not even right. First of all the top markets, are LA and NY. If you mean popularity then the Yankees and Red Sox are one and three, Atlanta is #2, and the Red Sox only broke the top 5 after they won the WS. After that, the AL doesn't make another appearence until Minnesota down the list.

Who's talking about the Devil Ray's?

Also, when the DH was established in 1973 it was voted on by the owners so it wasn't created to give favoritism to anyone. The NL was even going to implement it ,but Bill Giles who represented the Phillies at the vote, voted against it which caused Pittsburgh and another team (can't remember) to vote against it as well which shifted the vote. Even if you want to make that case, the WS results since the DH was implemented is in favor of the AL 19-14, which is about 42-58. That can just be attributed to more talented teams and the Yankees ability to buy whomever they want, not the DH.
