I'm guessing he won't be on the cover.
I remember last year before NBA Live came out (I'm in the Detroit area) they had Chauncey Billups on the cover of the cases that said reserve now. He wasn't on the real cover when it was released. I think this is probably the same thing.
It makes sense because if you look at the last two it has been two Super Bowl losers (McNabb right after his team lost and Alexander when his team lost). Plus, maybe EA is trying to do the Bears a favor and get him injured with the curse so they can get a new QB.nickdastick
i could see maybe urlacher but not grossman
How about someone who went without having a 0.0 QB rating this season?I almost shot myself when Chicago was stupid enough not to call vet. Griese into the game after......the 2nd interception

lmao why would they want to put rex on the madden cover he is the worst quaterback to ever make it to the super bowl. Blackfriend8
You cant curse a bad player....maybe he will shine?Espurs117what if the first game first play he tears his Acl for falling but nobody was around him? Madden Curse finds a lot of ways to screw people
Rex grossman aint the worse quarterback to make it to the super bowl and he diddnt have the worse qb performance in the super bowl, so if he makes the cover he damn well desrves it because he took his team to the super bowl with a tommie harris out, mike brown out, and cris harris just playing awful at safety, he and his unit stepped up, Benard berrian, makes the big catches, Rashied davis, makes the big catches, Musin muhammad, wines and draws the big flags, Desmond clark, makes the big catches and pancakes, offensive line, did a great job blocking, Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson, getting the job done on the ground. And Rex.... being a leader, soldier, and a field general. So if you cant respect that hes a consideration for the madden 08 cover. good job.
If this is true then I'm not buying the game. RG was one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL last year, and he certainly didn't earn the cover. Hopefully the curse is real.murlow12What made you belive he was one of the worst qbs last year i dont know but youre wrong. 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions is not bad just in consistent. People seem to forget the injuries he has gone through in his short carrer, which has limited his mobility to hardly none so every time theres pressure theres basically no alternative but to turn the ball over to save his carrer. In order for him to have success, the offensive line has to be flawless, or hes gonna make mistakes. So dont make a comment like that unless you analyzed him to a full extent, and not just listening to all that media garbage.

If you're injured, then get off the field. I can't believe people still defend this guy. He never helped Chicago win a game last year, the best he does is not lose it for his team. He's a complete joke. As for your comment about "turning the ball over to save his career," that's so ridiculous that it doesn't even warrant a response. Get real.
