[QUOTE="Chutebox"][QUOTE="MoonMarvel"]Nice try, not funny. Now back on topic. Eagles are in first, hopefully not for long.

What's funny? You admitted to his toes touching the line. His toes are part of his foot so he was out of bounds. I don't even know why there is a discussion about this.

Stop twisting my words and stay on topic please. The only reason there is discussion because so many wont let it go. You want the discussion to stop? STOP DISCUSSING IT.Simple. Now on topic again.....Eagles first place...How long.

It's on topic, this thread is about Eagles vs. Giants... And I'm not twisting any words around, do I need to go quote what you said?

Desean Jackson, WOW. Eagles need to fix up their defense if they wish to contend.

I don't understand how he gets so wide open so many times. It's like defenses keep blowing coverages that he's so open.

He always had potential, kinda short for a WR but fast and has good hands and vision. He should be good for a while, he hasnt peaked.

Desean reminds me of a young Santana Moss, but much more explosive, but give it a few and people will figure out how to gameplan to slow him down just like they did to Santana Moss.

There are ways to slow him down, but it opens up other possibilities. One is to put a safety who can keep up with him deep, not too many but I think someone like Polomalu has the speed to make open field tackles on him. Of course, if he misses it's game over. You can't man cover him, though. You either have to put two men on him, have the first bump him at the line and the second try to get there as the catch does, or go to a zone and get pressure on the QB. A well-executed cover-2 would contain him well, but between that line, Donovan's mobility, and the lack of personnel in most cover-2 systems there are few teams that can contain him like that.
