How often is it that one O-linemen (Berron) can pretty much be totally blamed on losing a game? Though to be fair the idotic play call, Romo's idotic decision to throw a screen pass on a Hail Mary (seriously just chuck it down field and even if it's INT'd he's gonna be tackled pretty fast. Plus I highly doubt a screen pass has ever gone 70 yards vs. a prevent defense), and the inexcusable subsequent fumble to end the second was worse.

Why are you laughing? Your team got owned by David Garrard.

I know they did. :| At least they didn't negate a walk off TD with a holding penalty.

Yeah, because they couldn't even drive down to tie the game. Orton was busy throwing an INT right to a linebacker.

This. I think people are jealous of the teams success. Hating makes those guys on ESPN look unprofessional. Hopefully the Boys rebound and Mcnabb continues to play like the chumpstain he is.

Well I love the Cowboys, but you know what after the stupid decisions they made last night they deserve all the hate that they get. It was pathetic.

I don't like them for two reasons. One, they have the most bandwagon fans of any NFL team, and that's damn annoying. Second, almost every year they get hyped to epic proportions and never deliver.

Doesnt matter, if it wasnt for that idiot o-lineman they would have won in spite of those mistakes. Its not like McNabb and his team played much better. Also the cowboys get hated every year no matter what they do.

If the idiot o-line man didn't commit a holding call, we'd be talking about tony romo's injury because orapko was about to put a lights out hit on him. Orakpo said in an interview he didn't even need to watch the rest of the play because he knew the game was over at that point he was being held. Did you see McNabb, he was victory fist pumping even before the pass was thrown to williams. he knew the game was over too.

on top of that without a muffed chip shot field goal, the game would have been 16-7 or 16-14. i think the many scenerios were pretty much in the skins favor. i dont think dallas gift wrapped the game. althoguh I will say the skins recievers are a huge problem.

No he wouldn't have. Romo knew he was there anyways and was already going forward. The o-line would have slowed him down the same play would have happened.

Romo barely escaped Orapko as it was, if he wasn't held he would have gotten to Romo a lot faster. Romo wouldn't have had a chance. You know that's why the hold right? Because they got beat.

nope thats just an apology. watch the replay again, it wasn't a half second hold, he was held for a good 3 seconds moving forward, Barron was beat out right cold.

I still think had he not held him Romo would have saw him and broke away from him. He saw coming before the hold. Then the safety would have came forward and Roy would have been open.

what does this have to do with anything. obviously you are speaking in a state of pure defense/anger, because this makes no sense. I'm simply pointing out if the field goal was made the last drive for the cowboys would have been futile anyways, except for the 1% chance they would recover an obvious on-side kick if they did manage to score without an obvious holding call.

The only reason Romo escaped is because Orapko was being held the whole time. He still almost got Romo.

You're right and thats all there is to it. But Cowboy haters and Redskins fans will make apologies and say other wise. The Skins lucked out, and thats that. This is coming from a Raider fan who wants the Cowboys to choke.

I'm a skins fan but Orakpo would of had the sack anyway. Let's not forget that Brian Orakpo is beat at rushing the passer (not to mention made the pro bowl). We shall never know but while Romo can make plays with his feet, Orakpo, when given the chance, will sack the Qb.

Which is why you say that, which is understandable. But I stand by my comment from a neutral standpoint.

Ok but I'm also gonna say this, the skins offense was meh but don't discredit the defense. They did a great job and I think aren't credited at all for winning the game in the end. Brian Orakpo is also not to be overlooked for his pass rush skills.

Could have been worse for Dallas, McNabb didnt play well. You need to get more production out of him or it will be a LONG season.

McNabb stunk up the field. He only completed 46.9% of his passes, which is a lower % than Kolb. He only had 171 yards and 0 TD's and Ints. He didnt make anybody look stupid other than himself and his new team. Vick played WAY better and even Kolb had a higher comp. I know you miss your boy, but seriously. If Vick wins the starting job and keeps his play up and McChoke keeps around this level, the Eagles will look like rock stars for dumping McChoke. There is no defending the way McNabb played, no apologies as he was TERRIBLE. FYI, his QB rating is 26th in the NFL which is worse than Dennis Dixon. And godspeed Jason Campell, for making Washington look stupid for getting rid of you! Sunday, Campbell > McNabb.

Yeah, but who won their game? Washington. Who lost their game? Philadelphia. Thus, McNabb played better than Kolb.

Lmao, worst logic in the world. I agree that McNabb was better than Kolb, but not with that reasoning...just awful. I guess Matt Cassel and Josh Freeman played better than Peyton Manning too since their teams won week 1.

[QUOTE="-Halftime-"]Godspeed you, McNabb. He didn't play well but he played a helluva lot better than Kolb.... Keep making us look stupid for trading you McNabb.MoonMarvel

McNabb's is so much better than Kolb. Hell, I'd take Jason Campbell over Kolb. Anyone is better than him.

This, a team winning their game doesnt make a QB good as a team can win WITHOUT a good QB. The Ravens won a super bowl with an average at best QB. Based on his logic Dilfer > Marino because Dilfer won a title.

I hate the whole "Dilfer over Marino" argument. It obviously isn't true. Clearly Dan Fouts is a better QB than Brad Johnson. Clearly Dan Marino is better than Trent Dilfer. But, SB victories make a difference when comparing a QB who is slightly better and has less SBs to one who isn't as good but has the SB victories.

I admit, the argument can only stretch so far. But when comparing one guy who threw for 300 yards, 3 TDs and lost, to another guy with 200 yards, 2 TDs and the win, you would be stupid to say the first guy played better.

The Dilfer over Marino argument is only used when some try to use victories and SB's as the sole means of rating a QB.

I'm glad we won and all, but McNabb looked like crap. He really needs to learn to lead a freaking receiver.

Wanna trade him already?

We have Grossman behind him, hell no lol.

ahahah oh Rex, how not missed you are in Chicago

Why so much irrational hate on McNabb? Reminds me of my uncle's who hate on him, Manning, pretty much any good QB...........and they're miserable Raider fans too :lol:X360PS3AMD05
They're just mad because they haven't had a great QB since Kenny "Snake" Stabler.

Yeah, they were good. Especially Gannon. But out of the three, I would only consider Stabler a great QB.
