The only game that I consider more Epic was the Braves/Pirates in 92 (Bream Slide)....but if I were a Cards fan this would overtake that. Truly awesome! Glad I didn't miss this instant classic!

4.5 HRS of DVR to only get to the top of the 10th :lol: First time i got burned like that, dangit. 1st and 10 didn't even talk about the WS, wth? I was so glad THeriot and dotel wouldn't get a ring, damn you Ranger chokers!!! Harrison for Carpenter...they have to be pooping themselves now. Not surprised at all by Cruz, horrible outfielder. Just remembered something, remember that stupid bunt that turned into a double play Rangers?...............yah.........and who is that Gentry guy and why is he playing? And that Michael Young gaff where he didn't know whether to go to 2nd or 1st.....then the Andrus lazy throw to first, don't remember if that inning cost them any runs but he had Molina out at 2nd.....didn't think any of that stuff would matter

Freakin weak man, just walking people left and right handing it over. In that first batch of runs they walked Pujols and Berkman and instead of just passing on Freese to try and get out of it they pitch to the hottest guy? Sucks for Cruz he won't be remembered for his bombs but his flop catch attempts in the OF.

Thank goodness. This was like good defeating evil, IMO. Rangers players and fans are so obnoxious and insufferable. Two back to back winning seasons after being invisible for over a decade and they act like they're a dynasty.:roll:

You probably would have been better off facing Pujols in that B10 instead of walking him to get to a red hot Berkman and get burned. On paper it makes sense but not in this series, besides the 3HR game Pujols was pretty much shut down. Wash has to answer to that, but i'm cool with it cause i think wussy teams who walk people should always pay for it! :twisted:

After reading this on Joe Blogs i'm convinced Washington cost his team the Series. "With the exception of one swing, St. Louis has been helpless against Holland. If you're going to kill the chance to use your most effective starter in game 7 by bringing him into game 6, you should be prepared to let him pitch three innings and finish the game. " Not to mention taking out Feliz and not giving him another shot with a 2 run lead in the 10th.

Im about to puke when a bum like that gets a ring but I feel sorry for Chuck for playing in the wrong era.

Did anyone here heard about this guy that bet on the cards when they were behind the wildcard race so vegas giving them 1000:1 odds to win it all. Apparently he placed $250 and banked big time, 250k!!

A well deserved congrats to the Cards! I knew once the Rangers crumbled while attempting to close it out in game 6 that game 7 would not be competitive. Oh well, there's always next year, I suppose...
