[QUOTE="GodofBigMacs"] the draft is very thin. Jaysonguy
Worst set of players I've seen in a long time
Cleveland won the right to pick in one of the worst collections of talent, woot! lol
Thin =/= Insufficient talent. It means after the first 3 picks (IMO) there is a drop off. Looking this draft, it reminds me of the 2008 draft. Two legit superstars, and then a lot of productive players IE Eric Gorden, Serge Ibaka, Michael Beasley, OJ Mayo, etc.[QUOTE="GodofBigMacs"] the draft is very thin. Jaysonguy

Lol even the two bright spots are iffy. Kyrie was injured for much of this season and if I were him, I would have stayed another year. Derrick Williams is an awkward "tweener" of 3 and 4. Has assets of both, but is not a purist either way. Enes Kanter has literally played zero college hoops. Valanculinas or whatever his name is has to have his contract get bought out. Not to mention that big men are almost always gambles in the draft. It was already a horrible draft with the players like Perry Jones and Harrison Barnes. They backed out. It's just atrocious now. Pistons might as well trade their pick, but for probably little worth.Correct me if i'm wrong, but if i'm looking at the chart correctly the Cavs won the first pick with the pick acquired from the Clippers (that pick could only possibly pick between 1-3, and 8-10). What a **** trade for the Clippers, in essence they traded the #1 overall pick, and Baron Davis for Jamario Moon, and Mo Williams.
You know his kid has a disease.....His kid is "interesting"
Wow, all that money and you put your kid out looking like that? There should be a law
Just shows how powerful LeBron was though, without him they're back in the draft picking first.
It's great they say they don't care though

Yes I most certainly do
Why would you have your kid wear that?
What he was wearing has nothing to do with what disease he has

I saw nothing wrong with what he wore...?You're really gonna hate on a 14 year old kid who's probably gone through more in those 14 years than you have in your life??
But back to the topic, this draft has no superstars. Ans by that I mean top 3 guys in their respective positions.
As much as I love how Kyrie, and Derrick play, both of those guys at best may be fringe all-stars.
The kyrie and cp3 comparisons are rediculous at this point. Kyrie played less than 400 minutes at Duke.
One guy I think that has the potential to be great is Enes, and he hasnt even played compeetitve ball in 2 years so i dont know.
This draft is very weak in the sense that there are no superstars, and few all start caliber players. Still there are some solid guys.
And congrats to the Cavs even though I think Dan Gilbert is a douche.

I'm more bothered about the suit, Dan Gilbert has custom made suits for every event and the suit his son was wearing looks like it was bought off the rack.
I don't know why the Cavs have to go after Irving honestly. It's already been stated that he's no Rose, Paul, Westbrooke, etc, so why not take Williams #1 overall, and then take a smaller drop off by going to Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker with the 4th pick.
He has been compared to Paul... I don't know what you are talking about. They don't compare him the D-Rose or Westbrooks because he isn't an elite scorer, and prefers to distribute the ball instead of shooting 25+ times a game. Kyrie isn't a super athletic PG who can dunk like a Westbrook or Rose. Also, do you REALLY want your PG to be a turnover machine that has terrible shot selection like Westbrooks? Chad Ford, who is the Mel Kiper of the NBA, compares him to Chris Paul.I don't know why the Cavs have to go after Irving honestly. I never thought about it that way. Williams and Knight would be a nice little combo. Knight is a bit raw still, but he has the talent. I love Walker, but not a true PG in the sense.I don't know why the Cavs have to go after Irving honestly. Colangalo doesn't mind it. He said if there is any draft to slip, it's this one. Not mach top talent, if any, and he said instead of getting first or second and then getting ridiculed if the players taken after do better, he may get someone projected top 3 fall into his lap.My Raptors get 5th? Thought they would be higher but meh. Still good.

I think the Cavs should tank another season to get another top pick. At least until another sure-thing star comes around. :P
Oh my God, Kyrie + Austin Rivers... the Cavs would reign for YEARS. Unless they take their talents to South Beach, of course.I think the Cavs should tank another season to get another top pick. At least until another sure-thing star comes around. :P
