Memphis Tigers.
You haven't seen us. You don't know about us. We don't fancy power conferences. We hide and train in the dark. We will descend upon this tournament with horrible fury and anger.
Really. I'm really hoping the Tigers can pull away with their first national title in school history. They have the depth and talent to accomplish such a wonderful and special feat. A victory would mean so much for the university (a regent committee, namely).
Lol, yeah, nobody knows about Memphis after they had their 1 Seed last year... totally under the radar... I think you guys were a little better off when Louisville and Cincy was still in C-USA because you got some better competition, but whatever. Memphis is a good team, but I don't think they're good enough to overcome some of the other competition out there (Texas A&M comes to mind.)Memphis Tigers.

Arborescence
We're a really young team. We only have one senior who consistantly plays and he's our sixth man. Freshman point guard (owch), two sophmore forwards, a MEAN junior center (watch out for him -- he comes to play some SICK defense), and a junior/sophmore guards. So many more people on the bench too. But yeah, I agree.. C-USA has degraded into complete trash over the last few years. It pisses me off how people will talk in-depth about the ENTIRE south bracket, and mention only by name when announcing the thursday matchup, lol.
Calipari tried to schedule a really challenging schedule last year, but many of the teams he selected were not quite as good as they were last year. But hell, 30 wins isn't too bad. Â
We'll probably end up seeing Kansas and Ohio State, but I really hope the Tigers can eviserate those stupid rolling acorns.
