We all say that a win is a win, and it is. Well, cheating is cheating. No matter how you spin it.
"Bah! Shut up about this ! It's not like spying helped them any!" Some fans mights say this. Well, consider this:
In school, what happens if you attempt to cheat and get caught? You get in trouble, and the ATTEMPT to cheat is wrong. Whether "Spy Gate" actually helped the Patriots in some games or not, just the idea that they clearly broke the rules is BAD, too!
You know, if my Dallas Cowboys cheated, I'd honestly be very disappointed. I guess that the Patriots fans are okay with it, though. Spin because you all are loyal fans! "It's us against the haters! Argh!!!!!111!!!!11!!!1"
This will not go away, fans. Just like the steroids problem for Barry Bonds won't go away. At least, the 2007 season for the Patriots will be remembered by many as being tainted, and rightfully so.
I'm not a hater. I don't like to dislike teams just because they are top dogs. I wish that they didn't have an arrogant coach and some arrogant players, and I wish that they never cheated. If someone is going to be so good like the Patriots have been this year, I want them to at least have some class.
Bring on the Patriots fanboys!
