The Redskins might make a move this year. Skins D might be championship level.

They hung right there with the most likely AFC back to form champs last night. 17-17 for starters in first half. And why yes Brady what might be the best QB ever hit Moss what might be the best big man WR ever 2 times for TD's I think Danny Boys 100 million $$$ man showed that he is a MONSTER he broke Brady a new one last night. Skins D is going to be a MONSTER for next year and for next few years looks like. And if The Skins offense can get going they could be contenders. The offense looks not to shabby right now.

I wouldn't call anything"championship level" in the Preseason, especially when your talking about the Redskins.

Definitely can agree on this one!

Washingtons Defense was ranked 4TH in the entire NFL last season minus Albert Haynesworth AND Brian Orakpo.

Plus the Redskins on the offensive side of the ball have got some real playmakers at key positions, just to break down a few...

Santana Moss - WR

Chris Cooley - TE

Clinton Portis - RB

Not even including Devin Thomas/Malcolm Kelly (Top Rated WR Prospects 07 Draft).

The only key essential element thats been missing in this team (for years) is the consistant play at the QB position... And if anyones been watching football lately... Jason Campbell is on a Hot Streak. Keep this up, they'll be in the Playoffs...

Preseason games mean very little. Preseason games against a good team mean even less.

The Redskins should be happy with a 5-11 record. Their defense will be as mediocre as their offense.

It is all going to depend on how well Jason Campbell plays and if the WR's can step up and make improvement.

I'm just saying that they already have a very good D and they are looking good on D in the preaseason and showed why they will be top ranked most likely this year with Hainsworth. I mean preaseason or not he broke Brady up and knocked him out the game. And maybe messed his shoulder up for a nag for the rest of the season. Just saying they have the potential to be top ranked again and better then last year.

No doubt and even I am very nerves about the QB position with Jason. But if he plays just decent and can manage the game then the D can really carry them and god for bid if Jason plays well then they could really make some noise. And yes I really feel Devon Thomas or Malcom Kelly need to step up and so far I see glimps of Devon Thomas comeing together more.

Albert Haynesworth, DeAngelo Hall, LaRon Landry, Andre Carter, London Fletcher, Brian Orakpo.

Look at the stats, they dont lie.

Might wanna do some hw before making uneducated statements.

Werd, years of roster building just like a Madden franchise mode has won them a lot of playoff games, hasn't?

Two seasons ago they lost to Seattle in the Wildcard round. Before that they lost to Seattle in the Divisional round in 2005. Are you seriously just making things up at this point? But hey, I guess one playoff win in the past decade is quite an achievement.

Look, I don't intend to be mean-spirited here, but if you're going to advise someone to "do their homework," I think it's fair to expect you to practice what you preach.

You are correct actually, I got my seasons mixed up,

But still to end a silly arguement, Redskins D is a guarentee Top 3. All the Offense needs is solid QB play and we got playoff-bound team.

Guaranteed? How so? I shake my head at the Redskins franchise. Their whole approach to building their roster is to look over free agent reports and their rolodex and ask, "Who're the big names?" Yeah, big names, big names, we're going to land all the big names. Forget about whether players fit into their offensive/defensive schemes. How about getting off the idea of star-studded casts and try for just plain building a roster of homegrown talent? They've been doing this crap since the mid-90s and have nothing to show for it but a perpetually messed up salary cap. Daniel Snyder is a more clueless version of Jerry Jones.

No way the Redskins are making the playoffs unless they win their division, the NFC North and South are too loaded this year.

The redskins have been in that division for over 50 years. And a good 45 of them the NFC has been the toughest division in footbal. And the Skins have won 3 superbowls and been to the big show 5+ times. So now you say the Skins are in fear of the best division in football?

Mostly this is on point and yes myself has hated the way Danny Boy has done things. But you are wrong now though the Skins and Danny Boy have seemed to made a change for the best. Last year they made the change for the best and look what they are doing now draft draft draft. Look they loaded up on WR and another TE. And I have been upset thus far with Fred Davis play at TE he came out oi college as the best TE in the country. If he gets it together him and cooley will be unstoppible. Also look how they went to the draft this year with Brian Orackamo he looks like he might be a BEAST. And all they did is sign one really big name is Hainsworth. And from the looks of Tom Bradys face after him saying hi to him the other night. This might of been one of Danny Boys first good signing for spending the big money. So yes they were terrible for several years at signing nothing but free agaent washups. But they have turned the corner as of last season. And are on the right path now.

Years ago when Jimmy Kimmel did little comedy bits for Fox Sports NFL pregame show he did a bit where he wondered out loud (I won't get the words exactly right): "If I were a rich man I'd buy myself an NFL franchise. Not just any franchise though. A franchise with some history. A franchise with great fans. A franchise with a great tradition. Then I'd take that franchise and drive it face first straight into the ground." Needless to say they put up a pic of Daniel Snyder after he finished.

Bernard Pollard of the CHIEFS knocked him out of the season last year. That has nothing to do with anything.

Unfortunately for us, having a good offensive line is a must.

We have anything but that.

Our Defense has a chance of being in the top 5. However, the offense is the proble. It all depends on Portis being healthy and Jason Campbell stepping up. The offensive line also ahs to play well and not collapse like the last half of last season.

BTW before anybody writes us off, we did sweep the Eagles last season and beat Dallas at Texas Stadium. The only team better then us in terms IMO in the division are the Giants overall in terms of offense and maybe defense.

Clinton Portis is getting old, their QB situation is still not as good as everyone had hoped, and they are going to be in for a fight playing in the division they are in. Frankly, there's a possibility that as many as seven teams could be in the hunt for the wild cards in mid to late season and I don't think any of them are pushovers.
