Niether team has been winning lately but the 49ers are at home and have lost a few close games. The Bears howver have been embarrased a lot lately so I'll pick the 49ers at home.

Crap, that's tonight already. I guess this is going to have to count as my pick 'em. The ways the Bears played the past few weeks I wouldn't pick them to beat almost anyone, but I also can't believe that teh Niners team of the past few weeks is the same team as the first few weeks. I say the Bears because their secondary and pass rush decides to show up and generate picks while the Niners' secondary doesn't. 27-21
im picking da bears, they always loose if im at work when the game is on, but im off of work today so they have to win

Way to slip Hester. Are th Bears giving the game to the 49ers?
Seabas989
I'm still waiting for someone to blame that on Cutler, but that really did suck, it was an awesome drive up until then.
rockguy already did. Both of them are at fault.
I thought he was talking about the first one where it was actually was a horrible decision by Cutler. The second one would have been a nice completion if Hester hadn't have slipped.
Edit: Ah, I missed rock's second post. It's okay rock, I forgive you for ragging on the Bears, I know it's just because you're sour over the Broncos getting beat by 18+ points two weeks in a row.
Dear Cutler: Fail less pl0x. 1 fantasy point through a half. kthxbye
Edit: As soon as I hit submit, there's a delay of game call on the bears. lol

Bears=/= a good fantasy bet this season. Olsen, Hester, and Forte were all supposed to be fantasy heavy-hitters and instead they're kinda busts, Knox ends up being the biggest fantasy player on the team, whoda thunk?
A couple weeks ago, the Bears played the ugliest game I have ever seen against the Browns...but today was even worse than that. :? I don't know how anyone outside of a Bears/49ers fan was able to watch this. :PJML897I just wanted to see Cutler fail and he did :)
Gameover.
I'm glad the Redskins didn't get Cutler because he would be just as bad as Campbell if not worse.
Seabas989
I doubt many QB's could be very successful with that running game, maybe Brees. TBPH, Cutler and Campbell are pretty close in terms of performance which is more a knock on Cutler than an endorsement of Campbell.

Man, I want Turner gone. He calls plays like a high school coach. He gets a couple of nice gains on screens and then he keeps going back to them after it becomes obvious the Niners have got wise, he's in love with that quick screen to Hester that NEVER WORKS, and he runs up the middle when there's no running room there. What do people expect when he calls two short plays when you need to pick up yardage that go for like two yards? He doesn't start calling plays right until the 2 minute warning, they should run their two minute drill the entire game.

Oh I know Campbell is mediocre. I was actually one of the few Redskins fans that thought it was a good idea not to get Cutler since are offensive line is atrocious that any Qb would have trouble unless they are Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, etc. Also I knew Cutler throws a lot of interceptions.
EDIT: Yes are running game is terrible which has been the biggest disappointment this season for the skins.

It always sucks when you have a bunch of pieces but can't put them together, in the Skins' case I don't think you can even blame the coaches, although I'm only really familiar with Jim Zorn. I'm actually a little befuddled when it comes to the Skins, but I guess the O-Line would be a reasonable explanation.
btw during the sideline reaction to the last pick did someone say "**** yeah", if not it sounded like it

The issue is Synder does his own personel moves and does not understand that paying big dollars and setting new precedents with contracts to bring in the biggest name free agent each year does not equate assembling a team that can win together. And they are stuck with the jason campbells of the world because all the money is tied up in individuals like Haynesworth. There is a reason the steelers, pats and indy are consistintly good. They put caps on what a position is worth regardless of the guy playing it and they bring in guys that fit regardless of what the hype on them is. Synder does not get that and untill he does there will be lots of losing in washington. Please Log In to post.
