Tony Romo and Tom Brady are two of the best quarterbacks in football. In your opinion, who is the better of the two and why?

Is this a joke? What has Romo ever done in comparison to what Brady has? I'll take the 3 time SB winner and two time SB MVP over some guy who just got off the bench midway last year.

This thread is a joke, right? I mean Romo is putting up great numbers, but Brady has been putting up numbers and winning Super Bowls for 6+ years.

This is a joke. Romo is a good QB, not a great one. He hasn't even played a full season and yet you are comparing him to a future Hall-of-Famer?

Isn't Romo starting his 15th game next week? This is a bit premature don't you think? If you are talking over the last 4 games, maybe you should have mentioned that because both have pretty good fantasy numbers. Good enough that I wasn't able to get either one of them on my team. We know what to expect from Brady but Romo is still showing us (and Jerry Jones) what he can do.

Even if you ask me who's playing better now, it's still Brady. Romo is good, but Brady is on another level. You'd be a bandwagon fool if you took Romo over Brady to start your franchise. Romo hasn't even played a full season and you're comparing him to Brady?Win a Superbowl or two then we can start talking.

This is a tricky thread! You all fell into the trap of replying to it and thus will make this thread a hot topic. Replying to a thread that holds no real weight or meaning of what is being discussed is considered a tricky thread. You can stop tricky threads by not replying to them. But based on the amount of posts, it's already too late. The tricky thread is in fruition. To prevent a useless thread such as this onefrom being a tricky thread, just don't post in them. To learn more about tricky threads, check my profile!

I really like Tony Romo but I am realistic and know that he hasn't done anything close to what Tom Brady has accomplished.

Congratulations to the Topic Creator, your thread will be a hot topic.

You may as well have made this topic in 1995 and asked, would you rather have Barry Sanders or Marshall Faulk?

Obviously, you take the Hall of Fame player still in his prime over a young up and comer who may or may not pan out.

Here are my QB rankings,

1. Tom Brady

2. Peyton Manning

3. Carson Palmer

4. Brett Favre

5. Donovan McNabb

6. Drew Brees

7. Ben Roethlisberger

8. Daunte Culpepper

9. Vince Young

10. Matt Hasselbeck

You see, Romo isn't even in the top 10. So there is no way you can compare him to Brady whose won 3 SBs and 2 SB MVPs.

well brady has acheived way more but if u put him on a team with just an average line he probly wont do as good. romo can get away with not having an amazing line because hes mobile and gets out of almost every sack. you still have to go with Brady though.

Pats O-line isn't as good as people think it is. That O-line has always let people go and brought in new people, but the only reason it has done so well is because of Brady. First, he gets rid of the ball quickly. Second, he can move inside the pocket so well to avoid many, many sacks. Romo maybe more mobile, but Brady doesn't need to be mobile because he moves so well in the pocket.

Lol at people thinking Romo isn't proven...

zarfbloot

Umm...Let's see:

1. He had very good games last season, but he faded away in the last few

2. Botched a playoff run

3. He only played 4 games against very bad teams this season. Let's see how he does against the Patriots.

4. He hasn't played a full season.

Despite that, so far, he's one of the best in the NFL, but we will see how he does as season goes.

1. so what he won more then he loss andled them to the playoffs in rookie season

2.What does that have to do with being an QB?He shouldn't have been holding it anyways.

3.LMAO He beat the bears.

4.True
