This isn't even a real comparison.

Peyton and Manning is the only real debate worth talking about.

Lol at people thinking Romo isn't proven...

jujutheking

Umm...Let's see:

1. He had very good games last season, but he faded away in the last few

2. Botched a playoff run

3. He only played 4 games against very bad teams this season. Let's see how he does against the Patriots.

4. He hasn't played a full season.

Despite that, so far, he's one of the best in the NFL, but we will see how he does as season goes.

1. so what he won more then he loss andled them to the playoffs in rookie season

2.What does that have to do with being an QB?He shouldn't have been holding it anyways.

3.LMAO He beat the bears.

4.True

1. I wasn't talking about win and losses, but his win-loss record wasn't that great. All I care about is how he performed in the games he played, and he was streaky last year.

2. He still chocked. That was all I was getting at

3. Bears are 1-3.

Brady wins easy! He has been good consistently for years w/ and w/o good WR's. Romo was a bit inconsistent last year (towards the end of the year) and has had good WR's. Romo may get better than Brady someday but right now he's not even close.

Yeah. Right NOW, he's one of the best, but until he shows me good playoff wins, he hasn't proven anything like Brady or Manning has.

Brady is only the perfect QB you can have on a team. One of the best arm, accuracy, pocket presence, leadership, reading defenses. In other words, he's more accurate, a better leader, more expereince in reading the defense, and can move around the pocket--only Manning can match Brady in that. Only thing I can think of that Brady can't do is move outside the pocket, but that's it. If you have any more, elaborate, but I doubt you have any.

Brady. Three, maybe four early next year, Super Bowl rings, good seasons, Brady has proven himself. Now, I can say on behalf of everybody here that the only reason Brady dosen't have 4 rings is because of the only QB in the league that, IMO, is better than him. Manning. Why? Peyton has WRs that aren't as good as the ones Brady has avaible, yet everybody is shocked when he throws an interception or gets sacked, and now he has a ring. Nuff said.

well brady has acheived way more but if u put him on a team with just an average line he probly wont do as good. romo can get away with not having an amazing line because hes mobile and gets out of almost every sack. you still have to go with Brady though.

COWBOYS SUPER BOWL THIS YR

dkhw

Pats O-line isn't as good as people think it is. That O-line has always let people go and brought in new people, but the only reason it has done so well is because of Brady. First, he gets rid of the ball quickly. Second, he can move inside the pocket so well to avoid many, many sacks. Romo maybe more mobile, but Brady doesn't need to be mobile because he moves so well in the pocket.

I agree. Look, the only pro-bowler on their line is Light and that is because Belichick put him in as a replacement for Ogden. Mankins is the best player on the line the rest are just solid players.
[QUOTE="Bladefighter23"]

Here are my QB rankings,

1. Tom Brady

2. Peyton Manning

3. Carson Palmer

4. Brett Favre

5. Donovan McNabb

6. Drew Brees

7. Ben Roethlisberger

8. Daunte Culpepper

9. Vince Young

10. Matt Hasselbeck

You see, Romo isn't even in the top 10. So there is no way you can compare him to Brady whose won 3 SBs and 2 SB MVPs.

mastershake575
that my friend is probaly the dumbest post every posted on gamespot like that one guy said chocalate isn't on high top 5 so it must be horrible

Top 3 looks pretty good. The ordering is definately messed up after that. Culpepper definately doesnt belong on the list so you can replace him with Romo or Bulger. McNabb, Brees, and Bulger are having terrible seasons thus far but you cant drop them off the top 10 because of a bad 1/4th of a season.

Are you kidding me? You just did not say Peyton don't have better recievers than Brady does. OMFG. That's one of the dumbest things I ever heard. Peyton has for over 6 years, had better recievers than Brady and still do. If you don't think two pro bowl recievers, one excellent TE is not better than Pats' WR corps, you are crazy. Pats have Watson, Moss, and Welker, and that's it. Last time I checked Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison duo is better than Moss and Welker duo.

That's IMO, mentally. I just think that the recievers right now for Brady look better than Manning's, but that's IMO. To be honest, it's kind of hard to know about the WRs when there are hardly any Colts/Patrios games televised here(More like Cowboy/Titan games) and I spend most of my Internet time here and on YouTube...

On second thought, I'm beginning to change mymind. Manning with Harrison and the other WRs have given out a lot of TDs from the games I watched. IMO, I think the only team that can stop Manning from winning another ring is the Patriots. It will come down to the running game(not sure about Patriots, but Addai looked somewhat good when I saw him) and defense(Colts have a good defense, but I'll wait for the Patriots/Cowboys game to comment on Patriots' defense).

What? Romo has better pocket presence than Brady does. Or he does this year anyway. Have you seen him avoid the 2.1 million rushers in the pocket? Also, what are you basing bradys accuracy over Romo on? If anything, I think ROmo is just as good in that department. Brady easily has the better long ball and leadership, but i think Romo has him in pocket presence, outside pocket manuverablitiy, and short-mid accuracy. A good and bad thing about Romo is his ability to make plays as well. Look at the high snap in the St. Louis game. Brady would have went down on the ball, Romo ran 30 yards and got a first down. The key thing is that he decided to pick it up and run, Brady wouldnt have done that.

Also, when Romo was getting sacked against the Bears, he threw a TD pass while falling. These types of plays are dangerous, but i think it takes you to another level if you have the poise to do it.

Thats what I was thinking but I did want to say anything. Harrison and Wayne are the best WR combo in the league followed by the Bengals with 85 and Tj. Both of those groups are better than the Pats who have one guy performing at a Pro-Bowl level(Moss). Before the season everyone is saying Moss is washed up and that the Patriots wasted a 4th rounder, but now the Patriots pass receivers as the best in the league.

If people are putting Romo down for not playing good opponents then why is everyone so quick to give the Patriots the Superbowl lets look at who they played

1) Jets, are 1-3 they're aren't very good and the Pats had to cheat to beat them...(way to go)

2) Chargers, have been a flop so far this season. Nothing they have done has impessed anybody, also 1-3

3) Bills...do I really need to explain this 1-3 once agian.

4) Bengals, aren't playing well this season and have one of the worst defences I've ever seen another 1-3

So you see Patriots haven't played a god team either. They're opponents have a combined record of 3-12 not to mention not one of those teams even has a good D. But to give them some credit, both players (Romo and Brady) are doing what they should do agianst bad teams which is blow them out basically.

You are dodging the question. Most of the people have given Brady the edge because he's taken his team to playoffs so many times. He only has one playoff loss and 3 super bowl wins. He's also more talented QB. What does Romo have? He doesn't even have a full season under his belt. Doesn't matter which teams Brady played this season. Look at the past seasons. Geez.

Brady has also completed countless passes as he was getting hit. So what's your point? And if you think Romo has greater pocket presence than Romo, you need to watch Patriots game more often. The way he doesn't even flinch when 7 people give rush and calmly dodges defenders by steping up and throwing a perfect pass is the epitome of pocket presence and only Manning matches what Brady does. Are you kidding me? You think Romo is more accurate on short-to-mid throws. OMFG. That's the funniest thing I ever heard. Brady is by far the one of the most accuarte QBs in the NFL, and his current 79% range proves that. What does Romo have? Uhh...55. Again, there is only the mobility and that's not even a big deal for a QB. Like I said, Romo has better mobility and that's it.

I am also sick and tired of this cheating crap. Show me proof and I will agree that our achievements are invalid. Also, Romo hasn't played anyone THIS season. He did well against some tough opponents last season, but again I haven't seen this kid play the entire season. If he plays well against Patriots and couple decent to good teams, I will offically acknowledge this kid as one of the top 3 QBs.

This is true, it's not how you start, but how you finish. Everyone has bad nights.

I'm not playing this picking game. They are both good players in different ways. Tony's good outside the pocket while Brady has the best hands on the other side of the field.

It all depends on if tony can recover.

This will be the game of the year. Don't count the cowboys out just yet.

This isn't even a real comparison.

Peyton and Manning is the only real debate worth talking about.

Oops perhaps? :D

lol, oops indeed. Romo showing more of his true colors with 5 INTs tonight. I'm not sayin he's that bad. But I don't believe he is as good as he's been playing.

I'm abig Tony Romo fan and Dallas Cowboys fan and all. Even after the game he played tonight, but I know Tom Brady is the better QB. He won 3 Super Bowls to Tony Romo 0.

This question to me is like saying who's the better QB Troy Aikman or Randall Cunningham.

Who ever the 12 people that voted for Romo needs to be thrown off a bridge head first.

Yep. Not as good as he seemd a week ago. He's a good QB, but not even near the level of Brady and Manning
