Was the Boston Celtics destined to win the championship this year?

Check this out. I know this is all coincedence, but it is almost as if the Celtics were fated to win.

Wikipedia says that the death of Len Bias put a curse and haunted the Celtics since. They never won the championship again.

With that in mind, here are some interesting things about the Celtics win this year:

• Len Bias wore #34 in college. Paul Pierce is #34.
• Celtics now won 17 NBA championships on June 17. Also, 17+17 = 34!
• Celtics hadn't won a championship for 22 years. Len Bias tragically died at 22.

You can find numbers like that for any team that wins a championship. For example, Len Bias died on June 19th. Maybe the Celtics messed with the gods, and they were actually supposed to win on the 19th, so now they're cursed for another 19 years!!!!
