Or Mcnabb looking bad is still not himself. Even the announcers said that. Not knocking washington they played a good game but mcnabb is still not 100%. They needed to establish a better run game.

Lol, come on now.. did you see McChoke blow this game? He overthrew and underthrew his recievers throughout the game. Pathetic. Keep hyping the Redskins, because you'll only lead yourself to disappointment.

Since when does eeking out a win against Miami and beating a one dimentional team that can't function in that dimention due to an ailing quarterback make you look good?

I don't really think they are going anywhere. They certainly don't look as poor as they did last year, but barely beating two of the worst offenses (even if Philly has potential, it's still disfunctional right now)in the league doesn't bode well for them.

Campbell played well last night but he is not on the level that Manning or Brady is in. I still question their defense. We'll see what happens when they play a more competitive team.

As far as McNabb goes, I think he is done after this season. The combination of him not throwing accurate passes and lack of WRs on that team will end his career. Washington played Bump and Run man coverage almost all game long and the WRs still couldn't shake free to get open.

Ok no they are not the best team in the NFL and no that are not blowing people out.

But what do have is a SICK safety tandum in Taylor and Landry, And they have a BEAST 2 back tandem in Portis and Betts. And people keep underestimating the BEAST the Caveman Mike Sellers who just TRUCKS people. I hope they start to use him more.

Anyway if your a true NFL fan. You would cleary see the development of a potentially truly great QB in the making with Jason Camebell. That was a grow up game for him last night and boy is he showing glimpses of being the total package. Running arm strength foot work POISE in the pocket. We could be seeing a great one coming into his own. And if so look out the Redskins have a YOUNG team and a MASTER Joe Gibbs at the helm.

If you guys buy into future trains then you better get aboard the Redskins express. Because they are starting to HEAT UP.

Only thing that upsets me is they are having some key injuries on there O LINE. If they can hold it together they could be a very dangerous team to contend with as the season wares on and Cambell timing gets even better and in sink.

And they have nothing but UPSIDE because they are young and have many years left for this unit to play together.

The Pats are real. The Colts are real. Hell, even Houston looks for real. The Redskins are doing nothing different from last year. We all knew that they had speed on the outside with Moss and Randle El and it looks like Portis will stay healthy. They have a good back up RB in Betts. Redskins are the same. It's Campbell's play against elite defenses that will confirm if they are for real or not.

Right, the Eagles are a team that is, and has been on the decline over the past few years. From being absolutely dominant in the East, to barely making the playoffs, to being a mediocre 8 -8 at best this year.

The Redskins have a light schedule, they can easily go 10 - 6 but an OT win against Miami... Miami? And people are ready to give the Redskins the East with those two wins? If that's the way things are going then the Packers and Lions should be given the NFC North, and no one is catching the Steelers in the AFC North.

It is way too early in the season for people to be demanding respect for any team that is not blowing people out of the water. Parity is alive and well in the NFL, teams like the Redskins and Lions sitting at 2 - 0 proves that. Come back when the Redskins have played 8 games and see where they are at then. Granted with their creampuff schedule, they could very well be 6 - 2 or 5 - 3. But if they go worse than that, its the same old Redskins, I'll guarantee it.

LOL. He's only played in Washington for 2 seasons thus far. Last season was a down year.

The Coles for Moss trade was a good one. Why? Moss is mostly a deep threat and Pennington has a noodle arm. Coles fits the Jets offense.

They were 5 - 1 with Garcia and 5 - 5 with McNabb as a starter... getting rid of the better QB is a good thing? Garcia's wins came against Carolina, Washington, New York Giants, Dallas and Atlanta. McNabb's against Houston, San Francisco, Gren Bay, Dallas and Washington. McNabb wasn't winning games down the stretch against the same tough opponents, the standings are a loaded stat in that case.

Philly has no top tier WR's, they don't run enough eventhough they have a decent running back, they dropped Trotter and Mitchell's numbers consistantly have gone down.

One good player can bring a franchise up, McNabb did that in the early 2000's, but he's a shell of what he was, even Eagles fans have to admit that. If this were McNabb from two years ago he could have single handedly won that Green Bay game, but it's not, it is the Donovan McNabb of 2007 who is still unsure about his knee.

So yes, I will stand by my claim of them being in a decline. Garcia made that team play better than they should have, its called playing above your ability, and that's the only reason that the Eagles won those last five crucial games.

It doesnt matter if they played above their ability or not. McNabb was playing like the MVP before he went down. The stats show that the team did not decline from 05 to 06. They are not as good as they once were, but they are not in a state of steady decline, but are terribly inconsistent.

Hold on there no they do not have alight shedule. No one could predict the giants and Philly would be under par right now. And those are big game in the NFC east for the first 3 games.

Also look at the Skins schedule they have 3 road trips that all consist of 3 games on the road. Yes i said that right they have to go on the ROAD and play 3 games in a row on the road 3 seperate times this year. Sp no the Skins Schedule is TOUGH if you ask me. When i first saw that i was like are you crazy NFL not even the Pats or Colts have to do this?

According to ESPN, they have the 18th toughest schedule, not even in the top half. Of course, that's based on before the season started, so it's slightly skewed, but it even includes assumptions the NY and Philly were going to be much better than it appears they will be...

Bingo, any schedule with Miami, New York Jets, Arizona, the two pretender teams of Detroit and Green Bay, and Tampa Bay is not tough. That is six games they should win... and with how bad the Giants are hurting and the Eagles are in general... that is not a tough schedule.

And complaining about back to back road games? Every team does it, and most of the time they are not as lucky as the Redskins to have them in the same time zone. It's not like they are traveling to San Diego and then to Tampa. New England and then the Jets? Come on... sure the Pats game is tough, but the Jets?

If you are going to make a brash statement like that, then you have no right to complain about the schedule being too tough. If you are saying you can beat the best team in the league, you cannot complain about having a tough (which it is not) schedule.

[QUOTE="Robot_Slough"]Sorry i meant 2 games in a row on the road 3 seperate time. Oh and also one of those 2 game road trip we play the PATS. So no the Skins schedule is very TOUGH.Robot_Slough

I think we can beat the Pats. I think are D will give them a good game.

LOL! Riiight, after barely beating the Dolphins at home.. pathetic.

saying you can beat the best team in the league, you cannot complain about having a tough (which it is not) schedule. LOEAnubis

[QUOTE="LOEAnubis"]Since when does eeking out a win against Miami and beating a one dimentional team that can't function in that dimention due to an ailing quarterback make you look good? LOEAnubis

Hah, think what you want, but the Redskins are finally for real this year.

But if they go worse than that, its the same old Redskins, I'll guarantee it.

watch miami go 9-7, they'll pull it together, they ain't that bad this year. their defense is decent.

gotta love how poor mcnabb gets all the blame when it was the skins fault for just flat out beating them.

eagles shoulda been 1 and 0 but a muffed punt killed them in week one. redskins had the turnovers and we still beat the eagles in philly!!

its ok guys redskins dont need respect. they can just go out and keep winning;)
