Lions will at best be a 4-12 team this season. I live in Michigan, and i have come to accept reality doing well in the preseason is meaningless, and there are only three things certain in life Death/Taxes, and the Lions being terrible.

I agree. Some people are saying they're an 8-8 team this year, but I think that's being optimistic. I'd put them somewhere between 4-6 wins. Still, I think there's a lot to look forward to there. The team's very young, they've got an amazing receiver, Stafford will probably be a very decent QB at least in the next couple of years, and if Kevin Smith doesn't emerge as running back they can address that in the draft. I'll say it here, Lions are back to the playoffs within three years.
Is everyone oblivious to the pick ups the Jets made in the offseason on Defense? I can not say theJets will score a lot of points on the Patriots but they will not get blown out. They have the number 5 rated defense and Brady still has not come back enough and proven he is the same Brady. I am a huge Jets fan and can they beat the Pats, probably not, but I do not see it being a blow out.
I was a couple ofpasses away from having a chance at a perfect prediction. Why the **** are you going to run it in short yardage when you have proven you can do more with the run?
