Davis most likely wants to haha. I don't see that happening though with Russell and Garcia already. I would like that though, if he could take that team places he would at least earn some respect back.

He'll probably have to run like a 4.50 to get Davis interested lol.

But he does, that's why the Raiders love him! Who cares about mechanics, who cares about experience? It's all about the 40 for the Raiders!

1. Vick said he's close to signing with a new team (WTF?) 2. I heard about him possibly playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers because of their experience with hybrid QBs (Kordell Stewart and Antwaan Randel El), and they need a good backup with the loss of Byron Leftwich, considering the fact that Ben Roethlisburger is injury-prone, and I also heard the Steelers like him and have such a strong fanbase that signing Vick would not at all be detrimental to the team (which I actually think might be true, as I am a Steelers fan). However, I don't even know if Vick will be signed by anybody by the first game of the year.

the rooneys would never take vick. it just wouldnt happen. anyone who says otherwise is highly delusional. batch is a good backup. dixon could provide the wildcat if we were to want that(i really hope we never do...its nothing but a gimmick)it would be a good thing for vick, not for the steelers, even if we got him for free.

I kinda hope he doesn't go to New England. I just see him taking pointless snaps from Brady, and fumbling or throwing picks. If they really wanna experiment with the Wildcat, they drafted WR Julian Edelman who could be great if he's healthy this season.

That being said I hope he goes to a team that really needs help at QB, so he can re-establish himself. I think more people would gain respect for him if he brought a team like the Niners or Raiders to a wildcard (or at least a winning season).

Oh yeah, I forgot about Dennis Dixon. M ichael Vick probably isn't as good at running as he used to be anyways. And running is seriously the only thing he had.

Why would the Steelers pick up a dude with baggage like that just to be a backup that even if you're going to use him as a "hybrid" would take a lot of work to fit him in...?

It's my belief that Vick will not be signed until mid-season or so, when injuries start taking their toll

There was some talk this morning about Vick to the Packers. Ted Thomson won't rule out interest.

You'd think with all the rumors someone would have signed the dude already.

if the vikings r smart, they would sign him. put your bias aside. adrian peterson and michael vick on the same team, let alone behind the same offensive line. defenses will b in trouble.

It'd be the dumbest move ever, on par with the Broncos going out and trying to get Cassel and Sanchez when Cutler was still on the team. Aaron Rodgers>>>>>>>>>>>>>Michael Vick

How do you even come to this conclusion?

The Vikings have Peterson which means that defenses stack the box.

They need someone who can exploit that and make passes down the field

You think the best remedy would be to pick up someone who is horrible when it comes to passing the ball

Really?

That is pretty much spot on. The Vikings need someone to hit the opponent where they ain't. The way to play the Vikings right now is just hang out up around hte line. Another player who is just going to run right into the same defense they set for AP just makes life easier for the opponent.
