I'll say Roddy White because he was #4 in receiving yards last year and everyone has mentioned all the other receivers in the top 5. So yeah, Roddy White.
Immma have to say Moss. Everyone got these short term memories. The dude has the F'ing record for touchdowns in a season which he set the season before Brady got injured! I mean damn, people, come on. He was dealing with Cassell last year so he definitely was lacking in the productivity but I see him returning to form this year. CBs can't cover dudeCameosisJI realize that he had a career season in 07. Larry Fitzgerald had a career season in 08. Randy Moss isn't the top dog anymore and won't be again.
Also the main reason I wanted to reply to this post is that as great an accomplishment his 23 are, Moss enthusiasts tend to forget that Rice had 22 in 12 games and had no control over the early end to that season. I wouldn't even be compelled to bring that up save for the fact that you use his record as the main evidence in your case for why he is the current best receiver.

Hey Moss is gettng a QB that's won 3 superbowls. And you're going to count him out?Hey Moss is gettng a QB that's won 3 superbowls. And you're going to count him out?waynehead895I wasn't really counting him out. He should still perform at a very high level. But I would be lying if I said that I thought the 09 Patriots will achieve what the 07 Patriots did, at least in the regular season, and that includes Moss and Brady astronomical stats. Don't get me wrong they could win the Super Bowl, but undefeated, almost 600 points, those are once in a dynasty type of things, it would be a miracle if it happened again.
That and of course there are just younger and faster playmakers out there. The fact that Moss contributes as much as he does in his 30's speaks for what a great player he is, I just don't think he's the best at his position anymore.
Randy Moss gets my vote. hes got the record and he did very well last year with cassell as QB. Still remember that awsome last second td catch against the jets to put the game into OT....although they lost the game anyways.
second is Calvin Johnson.....great numbers seeing as he played with the lions.
The fact that Calvin Johnson's even in this discussion despite playing for THE LIONS should tell you everything you need to know about his candidacy here. Dude is a physical freak. TomGameStopdrops alot of catches tho but yeah i agree...although i do think larry fitz is a little better
