As of right now the Mavs have the best chance. The Suns are a hot team but the Mavs are better all-around and have great depth on the bench. I like both teams but the Mavs are the better team right now.
My biased choice would be the Bulls. My real choice would be the Mavs or the Suns, but because of the two defenses, I think Dallas will win it, but I'm not an expert.

I think they're a pretty good team and I think that trade will benefit the Pacers in long run. I look for them to make a strong push near end of the season for atleast the #2 seed in Eastern Conference.
EDIT: btw, I'm not a Pacers fan, nor do I live in Indiana. However, I do think Jermaine (2nd favorite player) is one of the more underrated players there are in the NBA.
Mavericks are gonna win it because they're the only team that can do it all. They can play fast like the Suns, win with defense like the Spurs, and are young enough that they don't need to worry about injuries unlike the HEAT.
All the favorites to win the NBA Championship other than the Mavericks have weaknesses: Suns and Wizard are weak on defense. Spurs and HEAT are too old. Lakers are too young. Houston, Detroit, and Suns have no bench. Chicago has no offense. Pacers and Cavs are too inconsistant. Utah doesn't have much experience in the playoffs other than Jerry Sloan.

He is right (I'm glad I have liked the Mavs as my second team since Dirk hit the scene, I also think Howard, Terry, and Harris are all studs too) even though I hope that my fave team (the Jazz) will be playing them in the Western Conference Finals. It would be a good experience for such a young team. Then maybe next year they can drop the Mavs and finally get their championship!
I've to go with The Lakers(home team), they've beaten some of the best teams in the west. I doubt the east will win the NBA title this year.

I hope so because the Lakers are my team too and kobes loss to the Suns last year in the playoffs was the best thing that ever happened to him, notice how he completely changed from him trying to carry the load by himself to trusting his teammates better now, the only team that I see lakers having a hard time with are the Mavericks only because they seem like the better all around team
Everyone doubted an Eastern team would win the last two times it happened (Miami last year, and Detroit two years (and almost one year before as well) before that)... and Pistons have a weak bench? They had a moderate one last year and went deep (and didn't finish because Flip didn't realize then that this team knows how to run the race, Flip is a regular season guy, and he's changed now)... they've addressed their bench problems well... you CLEARLY have not been watching (their bench develop) and are one of those copy and paste espn readers... espn publishes well thought out opinions, but not all of them are right... and besides that, I haven't seen any experts bangin their bench lately anyway, which leads me to believe the Pistons BENCH haters are a few years too late (probably the real case here)... actually WATCH their games before you talk crap(their bench production is near the level it was when they won it all a few years back fellas), I've seen almost every team play this year at least once, if not twice (very few exceptions), and I don't just steal old arguments from the past... do more than copy and paste arguments people...
whoops, almost forgot, they're on tnt tonight folks, at home, playing the Lakers at 8. Watch them, they already beat the Lakers in LA earlier this year on like, the second or third game of the season (when they were performing with less motivation and didn't have some of the players they have now (cough *revitalized, happy c webb, very underrated when in happy situations vets. are* long cough))... they might end up sweeping the series with the Lakes this year, AND Odom is back, so that can't be an excuse (which would be if they lost, and he was there when they played them earlier this year too in LA).
