^ I loled. In the guys defense though, Calderon is slowly becoming one of the better PG's in the league. These were his averages last year, FG 49% 3 point 40% FT 98% :o (not lying, 98% FT's made), 8.9 assist per game, 12.8 PPG. I wouldn't put him in the top 5 just yet but he'll probably get in there a few years down the line

This guy is 2 more seasons away from being a top 5 easy. He just needs to score a bit more and keep working on his defense. I got used to there being 10-15 very good PG's in the league back in the 90's and now it seems hard to find 5.

Hmm. To the original TC: Not a bad list. I take exception to the inclusion of Devin Harris though. He's too much of a score-first PG for my tastes. I'm old school. I prefer distributors. 1. Chris Paul 2. Deron Williams 3. Tony Parker 4. Chauncey Billups 5. Rajon Rondo

  1. Williams
  2. Paul
  3. Billups
  4. Parker
  5. Nash

I'd still take Nash over a lot of the more athletic and younger players despite the injuries and age , and his defense at times. He can still run a team , handle the ball ,distribute the ball , execute the pick and roll , and shoot extremely well. (deep range , mid range , free throws).

Rose is a good solid pg, but he hasnt done enough to be considered top 5 imo :|

Rondo is probably better as a playmaker but overall, its not even close

LOL @ ignorance.

His career FG% is .409 which usually equates to 40.9% and not 37. Baron Davis is also usually top 5 in rebounds, steals and blocks for PGs. He usually leads all PG in blocks. He is a big PG and can cause matchup problems. When he is in form, he is one the best. I think it's funny that you can't recognize that. Most basketball people know how good he really is.

Yeah i think he 08-09 confused with his career. during the 08-09 season his field goal was at 37% but his career overall his field goal is 40.9%

when davis is in form he will chuck up 20 shots only make 5 of them. Dude is terrible at ball he can score 20 ppg but would need to chuck up many shots to get there and by the end of the day his team loses he isnt a pg he is a sg stuck in a pg body that just sucks at doing his job

Probably the most underrated pg imo. and i dont even like the celtics.

in the playoffs he averaged 16.9 ppg and 9.8 apg. and he can get rebounds like crazy especially for a pg.

Check the sig and you can guess I probably don't like the C's either. But I'm not blinded by fanboyism or anything like that. I enjoyed watching Rondo play... he was just amazing.

I don't know what you are saying. Lebron, Allen Iverson, Wade, and even Kobe doesn't shoot 50% FG... They are all very high (49.1, 47.2) but still there not 50% shooting. . . so what are you saying?

Sort of doesn't matter when you can average close to a trip dub in the post season.

Wow wow...how did Devin Harris become one of the top PGs in the league in one year? His numbers aren't that amazing guys. It's great he was the third highest scoring PG last year behind Parker and CP3, but of the top 5 highest turnover PGs, only he and Russell Westbrook (who is irrelevant really), averaged less than 9.5 assist a game. As a point guard, you should have better assist to turnover ratio than that. He was also 1 of the 5 PGs in the league last year that had a FG% worse than 45% of the 12 PGs that averaged more than 10 shots a game. Lastly....I can't believe people are still thinking Deron is a better point guard than CP3...just look at the talent around the 2 of them. CP3 is putting up those numbers...with that talent...CP3 has nobody close to the offense talent of Boozer and Okur and he is still producing like he is...common guys...anyways...with all that said...here are my top 5... 1. Chris Paul 2. Deron Williams 3. Steve Nash 4. Jason Kidd 5. Rajon Rando Rando only because he was able to put up some crazy numbers for a PG his size in crunch time last year, and he's proven to be a leader among the Big 3 in Boston. There's a lot he has to work on, but durability and decision making are what I value for point guards and he's right up there with the other 4.

I don't know what you are saying. Lebron, Allen Iverson, Wade, and even Kobe doesn't shoot 50% FG... They are all very high (49.1, 47.2) but still there not 50% shooting. . . so what are you saying?

i was talking about games. Baron davis struggles to shoot 50%. He only had a 50% game last year like 13 times:|

Wait he played 13 games last year??? :P...sorry had to throw that one out there lol

This. Hopefully D Rose will earn a spot on this list in another year or two.

I dont know about putting billups ahead of parker, but thats still a really good list.

Actually, I think I'd put Chauncey ahead of Harris. Tony is getting old
