It's not like it's done to everyone, or even all that often. But if you see Cowboys jerseys at the Linc or Mets jerseys at the Bank you know that some drunk idiots are going to start something.

I live near Philly and one day I'm going to get tickets to the Cowboys-Eagles game, and wear a Cowboys jersey. If a drunk fan does something to me I will press charges like Victorino did.

cant blame you at all. just cuz your in a stadium doesnt mean you shouldnt still be somewhat respectful.

Lots of sports towns are like that but they're willing to forgive quicker than Philly fans do. I love the Eagles but when McNabb has a bad performance, the fans are ready to boo him and hope that McNabb gets benched.

Fans in other cities are quicker to forgive players than in Philly? How the heck do you figure that?

Heck my cousin went up to Oakland last year and he got trouble from a Raider fan :lol: He is a Raider fan also, he said he kept bothering him the whole game telling him "you're ruining the enjoyment of the game for me", "move to some other seats those are my friends" wtf? He even told him to go outside with him and handle it in some alley LOL Maybe because they were getting their butts kicked by the Pats or he was drunk or maybe both, i laughed at my cousin for going up there to see that sorry team and having a bad time, it was also raining BTW haha.

I will say, that wearing an opposing team's jersey to Filthadelphia is a mistake. I was 12 when my dad and I went to a Pens - Flyers game, and it was one of the most miserable experiences of my life. Stuff getting thrown at us, beer dumped on us, fans yelling awful, awful stuff, etc. Compare that to last year when I went to a Pens - Sabres game in Buffalo, and all I got was some booing and jeering, nothing out of the ordinary. Stay classy, Philly.

so let me get this straight its only philly thats not classy huh? So let me see. Yankee fans chucking baseballs onto the field at the 2004 ALCS that had swat police run to the field was classy? The guy who threw the beer at Victorino was classy? The fight at the Palace with the Pistons and Pacer started by a fan throwing a beer was classy? A Red Sox fan punching Gary Sheffield in the face while he ran to get the ball in the OF wall was classy? I can go on and on about different fans in different cities it happens everywhere its Sports get over it everyone

EXACTLY. Every city has the good fans, the bad fans, and the drunk fans. It's unfair to just single Philly out

im sorry but fighting over sports is the dumbest thing ive ever seen.....im a falcons fan and i love going to NFC SOUTH stadiums....and making the road trip, and tail gating with my rivals and jabbing....back and fourth before and after the game...its what makes sports great......but getting into pyhsical fights over it because you've had to much to drink....is very stupid....and not welcoming your rival to your ball park is just because your a bunch of idiots ...who are scared your team is gonna lose and the world is gonna end and maybe the fan of the other team will cheer....o god know...not that!

I actually think most Philly fans will admit they loved it when they saw Michael go down, they were just mad that it couldn't have been Emmit. It's harsh but that's what most Philly fans think of that incident. Me, I don't think I could bring myself to boo a man on a stretcher, and I'm a die hard Eagles fan. I know not everyone was booing that day but I'd be flat out lying if I told you people didn't enjoy watching him go down. Now, I was very young when this happened so I wasn't even into football, I wasn't even a teen yet. I've heard enough about it and been around Philly enough in the years to learn a good bit about it though.

It's a shame that Michael had to end his career like that, but I think the 3 Super Bowl Championships he won during his career more than made up for it.

Typo, I meant to say Cheered when Michael went down:P But yeah, huge Laker fan, they're the professional sports franchise I root the hardest for, of all my favorites teams in the different sports, the Lakers are the team I care about the most. Just has always been that way. My mom and dad are huge Lakers fans too. Been rooting for them since I liked basketball8)
