Why do we play sports games??

because i can.

people say i rather go play the real sport outside except there are factors like...

1. weather (i cant really play basketball in the winter that well, or golf, baseball.)

2. friends (im freaking 18 going to college i dont have the time or the friends that want to go out and play a pick up game of bball or touch football.

3. i hate soccer

4. because sports games like madden, nba live, tiger woods golf, extreme sports like skateboarding are fun and well you cant get hurt which is a plus.

why do people play sports games? why do people kill people? why did i do this or that? people do things because they can do what they want but people that do studies dont understand that. people always want a reason for everything which is just ridiculous.

Some are genuinely fun video games. You don't even have to like the sport or be into sports (even though it helps to be a fan of the sport).

For example, I don't golf nor do I watch it on TV, but I love Tiger Woods PGA Tour because it's a really fun game. And likewise, I love basketball and follow the NBA but I don't play basketball video games because I don't find them to be much fun at all.

I see sport games as regular video games. They're either fun or not.

^ pretty much what I was going to say. playing sports games gives me control of the closest thing to real life sports and for me it feels like being the head coach of your favorite team when your playing nfl 2k5 or nba 2k8. I like to play as sim as possible which means I play pretty much exactly like how each team plays in real life so I can get that realism unlike most arcade games. I also like to play sports games to immitate my favorite players such as Kobeandyboiii

1 - they're the most fun games IMO.

2 - i like sports

3 - its the closest i can get to being a pro.

You cant always go outside and play you know, why dont those people tell that to some professional ball players since they also play Sports vids. I play sports outside and inside. I would rather play a game of FIFA, NBA2k etc then to watch an actual game on TV, WHY? Because at least this game on TV I am playing and involved. My game is better than the one on TV.

it depends.. after a while it gets redundant.. so I usually sim all "pointless games"

I play every Cup Match(Champions League, Copa Del Rey, Supercups)

I play all friendlies( usually against the top 4 in the EPL,)

and i play every rivalry game against Madrid.

but everything else gets simmed after the 5th year

always play in World Class Mode until i'm able to obtain Legendary.. and i play every match until i get 150-200 legendary wins under my belt

Its a flaw in the game.. when ur in manager mode.. it Auto Saves your season.. but it NEVER auto saves your profle.. you have to manually save it to keep ur game tally... its retarded

Bump it up to world class... the Offensive and Def. AI is amazing
