Cutdowns on linebacker plays that make no sense(I sincerly dobut Tavares Gooden can leap 11 feet inthe air, pick off a ball and break 7 tackles to the endzone).
Better referee AI. They call too many of my passes imcomplete when I obviously have both feet in, plus a couple more steps. Please don't make anything like 2K, those games are sticky and the gameplay is so unsmooth.

This, and less bull **** The new animation system kind of sucks imo too.
Oh yeah, and full replays, not the crap they have now where it cuts out the end where they do a cool dive/tackle break to score, or where they cut out the first half of a kickoff return.
I've had this idea for Madden (And the NHL franchise) for a while where there would be a large amount of "All time teams" where you could have, for example, the 1992 Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboys against 2004 Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in a Super Bowl of all Super Bowls in one scenario. They could have it set up where you could select 12 teams into a playoff system and play it out to determine if your favorite all time team has what it takes to be the best of all time. I doubt EA would do this for some stupid legal reasons I don't know about or whatever other excuse.
An actual physics engine would be a good start.II-FBIsniper-II
Here's my wish for Madden... Backbreaker is supposed to be coming out fairly soon. It's my wish that Backbreaker turns out to be a great game with the Euphoria physics system; however, without the NFL license, it's not going to sell. That's a given. If the game turns out to be as good as I'm hoping, It would great if EA bought the rights to the engine, slapped an NFL skin on it, and released it as Madden.
I would like to see more done to the gameplay its sometimes to slow to hit the wholes with the running back and more to the superstar mode i would like it to be more of a real life person like gta where you can drive around and got to practice and game meetings etc..and player ratings to be more realistic..thats it

Not as bad as any current gen Maddens....
Are you serious? That must be why they only made one of them right? Because it was so good? That game was decent at best and had the same gameplay issues 2K5 had. I just think they need to tighten up their gameplay in certain areas (catching animations on the sideline suck) and cut down on the referee cut scenes or at least let us skip them. And like someone else mentioned, don't end the replays at the endzone or even the gameplay! I'll have a guy falling into the endzone and before they hit the ground it cuts to the refs... And yeah, Superstar mode needs to be overhauled big time! They took out the mini games which were half the fun of doing it and now you just give your guy the stats you want... Do what NCAA Football does but have it be the last few games of college instead of high school or something.

This is exactly what I have been hoping for since I first heard about Backbreaker! It was supposed to come out this past fall but obviously didn't make it. I have played the Backbreaker game on Itouch though and it's actually really fun and the animations are stellar even on the Itouch! I hope Backbreaker has crazy good gameplay so EA picks up the engine because I think the engine could change all sports games for the better!

Tighten up their gameplay in certain areas? More like all areas, the physics in madden are terrible
I want the player mode to be more realistic, on madden 10 it was just so plain, there were no commentators or nothing. Then the halftime show, can we have more than 1 highlight, and have other highlights from other games around the league. The player mode, maybe do the player mode just like nba 2k10 does it and have skill points. 3-4 defense also wasn't at its best either.
Just make it more realtistic, after the game have us talk to commentators and actually have them speaking with audio and not them just over their just saying bla, bla, bla.
For superstar mode, How about draft combines, things like bench press, speed drills, vertical jump, basically everything that's included in the real-life version of an nfl combine. How about a team calling you and telling you they want you to do some drills for them to check you out. I really hope you look at these and there's a guy that, if you go on google type in madden 11 superstar mode and he has some really great ideas.
