What is the team that you want to win the championship.

And what team, do you think has more chances to win.

For me, i would love to see the Suns winning, Steve Nash is my favorite player and i really like how the team plays, also, i would like to see Mavs, Magic or Celtics as champions, any of this teams and i'm fine.

What team do i think it has more possiblities, Lakers, without a doubt, they seem as strong as last year, i really don't think any team can stop them, not even Teh little prince Lebron, although, i admit, it would be a hell of a final.

Anyway, what do you guys say.

I still say when the Lakers are on their game, they are the best team in the league. Their defense has been great lately and Kobe's been playing great minus the debacle against OKC.

Denver is going to win. I don't know if I want them to because Melo is a douche.

I am hoping for the Cavs. I think out biggest key will be Shaq. If he plays well were set because he is a auto double team.

Yeah, have to agree that Shaq was doing a great job in the Cavs, still i think that he will be out of fuel in the conference finals, or the finals, and the young people like Dwight (Magic) or Andrew (L.A) could minimize the damage he usually does.

Cavs, Lakers, Magic, Nuggets, Mavericks in no particular order. Rest of the playoff teams have no chance.

I want the Utah Jazz to win it. They are playing really well and if they can get healthy and stay health for the playoffs, they could make some noise.

I think the Cavs will win the NBA Championship though and they will probably play the Lakers as much as I don't like that... I do like the Cavs though so them winning is cool. It's just the Lakers being there that I don't like.

I could bet $10,000 that if the Cavs faced Kobe and the Lakers in the Finals Shaq would average 20 and 10 at least.

I want Lakers to win, and I believe Nuggets or Hawks have a great chance to win. Same goes to Orlando Magic.

Well I want the Bobcats to win but I doubt that is going to happen unless there is some magic. I think the Cavaliers are going to win this year. Shaq will be a force again in the playoffs which will bring the Cavs over the edge. Other than the Cats though I really want to see the Cavs or Magic win.

If the Lakers get Bynum back and the team is healthy they are my pick to win the NBA Championship.

Well, Lakers of course, although I admit that I'm getting very worried about them lately. I still say they make the Finals. When they're all healthy and play their hearts out, they're the best team in the NBA, PERIOD!

Maybe ten years ago. But not anymore, no way. With Gasol, Odom, and Bynum and even Mbenga giving him problems! Four 7 footers hassling him? Shaq was brought in for Howard, but the Diesel nor Superman can't take on three X-Men from the Lakers!

I don't think Shaq could average those number but I can guarantee Bynum alone can't guard him so they will double team and leave the Cavs deadly shooter alone. Also Shaq is superman not Howard.

Just give Shaq the motivation of winning a Title over Kobe and you will see.

Honestly, at this age, I don't think so. He may do more harm then good.

I would love to see the suns win, especially so Nash can get his ring.

Realistically I'd say Lakers, I think the celtics might also be a darkhorse in the playoffs.

Lakers- 40%

Cavs- 30%

Celtics- 15%

Magic- 5%

Spurs- 5%

the rest-

5%

I've predicted 7 of the last 9 NBA champions correctly from the playoffs. I got 03 and 04 wrong.

I really like that prediction other but I would put the Cavs over the Lakers. Noone can take Shaq in a 1 on 1 if he is playing like he did right before he got injured.

Go Heat!

In all seriousness they are starting to play extremely well at the right time, so you never know what can happen. In reality though treams like the Cavs, Magic, Celts, and Hawks all have a better chance at reaching the finals.

you never know what can happen in the east :). champions will probably be the cavs seeing how they have such a strong bench as opposed to the lakers bench.

People like you are the reason I want to see Cavs vs Magic.

:P Yeah, that's going to be a pretty damn good series, personally i like Magic, and i don't stand the Cavs, so yeah, maybe i'm a little bit biassed.

Anyway, i'm reviving the thread now that the playoffs are almost set, what do you guys say now.

IMO the Lakers fell hard, i don't know, maybe they are keeping a low profile perhaps, but i don't see them as the unstoppable team, now i think that the Mavs are getting the momentum and can be a surprise, and while a like the Suns a lot (Steve Nash is insane) sadly i don't think they have the chance to make it to the conference finals.

So i'm calling it Magic vs Mavs and Magic wins on 6 games.

I wonder if i'm the only one who thinks this way...
