This final fantasy has a lot of things different about it. One that caught my eye was that there was no ifirit or bahamut. I know some of the old summons are the names of some airships in FFXII but still, why would they change now? they started to look really cool, any comments?
WAIT A MINUTE, WHAT IS THE POINT OF FINAL FANTASY WITHOUT BAHAMUT. I MEAN HE IS LIKE THE MOST IMPORTANT SUMMON TO APPEAR IN ANY FINAL FANTASY GAME AT ANY TIME. THEY BETTER HAVE AN EVEN BETTER DRAGON TO TAKE HIS PLACE. IF NOT I'LL BE PRETTY PISSED AND IM SURE OTHER DRAGON FANATICS WILL BE TOO!!!
Its a different writer morans... Thats why the names have changed hes trying to step away from his fathers style... get use to these names if it works out and 12 is loved the next 10 final fantasies will be writen this by this guy not his beloved father...
dont call us morons for loving previous FF summons. But i did look at the new ones in my LE strategy guide and they were pretty bad ass...some summons are from previous FF's like Hashmal is one of the zodiac braves from FFT. Belias reminds me of Ifirit because it has Hellfire, Cuchulainn is from FFT, he is the 1st ZOdiac brave you beet Queklain.
i know what u mean, we do need the old summons back, but maybe we will get them back in the up coming FFs, the ones we really need to bring back are, Bahamet, Hades or Diablo, Knights of the round table, Titan, Ifrit, Shiva, levathian, oden and lastly rahur. if i mispelled them, sorry, but i think these was some of the best sommons, we should keep even though its almost all of them.
lol that when it comes out in the USA ( 10/31/06), and btw the summons they kept for like 10 years were a lot better ( the ones you listed) because each FF i see they tryed ot put a few extra summons in, and then you dont see them again
i agree...they should of kept ifrit he's a classic and bahumut was probably the best summon (in my opinion) hopefully they will bring the bak in ff XIII
now when i think about it...i really dont think they will be back. Final Fantasy is starting to get too futuristic...and the old summons are maybe just a little "getting old". I love them, but i think thats what the company thinks of Ifrit and all of the classics
