Hey Manhunt, nice to see you on outside MSN and on Gamespot. I would say FFXII, the battle system is the best by the looks of it. I like controlling the characters yourself.
Hmm, I think it would have to be the FFXII battle system it's just such a radical change from anything we've seen before and I really like the look of it.
I haven't had any hands on time with the battle system of XII, though from the looks of it, it reminds me alot of XI. So much so, that I think if you've played XI, the battle system will feel at home in XII. I loved the sphere grid of X.
Sphere Grid is my most innovative feature, it intertwines, very complex or then again very simple, the chance to customize your character to a certain degree, or to have them develop the same (at different points in the game). What Other FF does this? (maybe FFXII, but i have not had a chance to play, damned Europe...) At this point in time, none. :)
The new battle system in FFXII.I think it's the best FF innovation because it's a real change from all the other FF's.The Sphere Grid was good but it was kinda annoying 4 me.I luved the Junction system and I wish Square would find a way so u could draw magic and use mp interchangebly.
yes I will have to go with the unreleased FFXII. It seems like a much better way to play, with fights not having to load, and anyone jumping in. Also the monsters are able to attack each other. How cool is that? Anyway I think this would make a good online system. You could be attacking someone, and begin to die, and your friend could come to your rescue. Any opinions on the online system?
How about the way different peoples lines aren't in different fonts like peoples in this thread are? Other than that I'll be generic and go with FFXII battle system.
I think the job system began in FFV was the best. There was much more freedom for customization for characters. More than that, you could combine different sets of abilities to create different strategies. This just felt like the most realistic system to me, so I enjoyed it very much.
