Kingdom Hearts 3 Thread - Main Storyline

I think Roxas is a crybaby. He whines way too much. It gets really annoying after the 15th time(his VA is annoying too). He should be the new main character. Riku should.

Also, it's not KH3, but a prequel of KH(that's what Nomura said).

I think the Chasers are bounty hunters, who are sent by Mickey to take out the old man.

You would be a whiner too if you found out you weren't supposed to exist, and everyone was out to get you. Not only that but you're stuck in a power struggle between Organization XIII, and DiZ. That and you have to face your best friend, Axel. I hated Riku, always have, probably always will. He needs to take responsability for his actions, if he wants to get out of the darkness, then DO something! Gosh whining and having Sora fix all of your problems, really-grow up Riku! He should stay in the darkness and learn to manipulate it, since he's got a strong heart if he tried he could probably learn to wield it without succumbing to it. Andraxal

No he didn't , remember? When Roxas did that slash, Riku lunged forward and cut him, knocking him out? They added the scene with Riku using Xenahort's power in Final Mix+ Remember?

I meant that Roxas didn't really learn how to do all those things(like making the keyblade return to him, creating 2 keyblades, etc), it just happened. Sora was like that in KH1, but he learned. Roxas didn't.

I wonder why he didn't learn to summon the keyblade? I wonder how he first found them, you know they are very enigmatic with his past other than with Axel. What was his job in Organization XIII? Most of them had jobs, and unfortunately Axels was to weed out traiters, if I remember right he was sent there by Xemnas. Roxas didn't really get time to learn. I thought what DiZ did was pretty cruel, knowing he'd be assimilated little by little the closer he got. "I guess my summer vacation is over" or some thing along those lines was one of the sadest ones I'd ever seen along with the music that played. I was like: awwww!! I don't understand how Sora can just open up KH. Also why did the Organization XIII members still call him Roxas even though they saw clearly he was Sora. I kinda wished he didn't die, I liked him. He was pretty cool, and loved to back stab-my kinda person! I think they should bring Saix back too, I thought he was truly cool too! He'd be really powerful if he was all put back together! I mean look how crazy he was in battle! No other boss was that intense in battle! He was one of the only ones who also seemed to be pulling the strings as well. Did you know in a new scene in KH:FM the purpose of Castle Oblivion was discussed by Zexion and Xigbar? Also you ever wonder where Xemnas was during the game? Saix seems to lead it when Xemnas is away. Xemnas goes to a room in his old laboratory called Room of Awakening, where he often talks to Aqua, one of the new characters-he even calls it "friend". Did you know that? I think Roxas was absorbed by Sora when they met while in DiZ's world. I think he awoke though after Axel's death, out of anger and fury. Doesn't that validify things more? Also have you ever wondered where Malificent came from? Axel and Roxas are sent on a mission to revive her by Xemnas, but why oh, why would Xemnas revive her? What purpose does that serve? I think there was a lot going on in the game that we won't understand until the next one. I do know that Xigbar knows the purpose of Castle Oblivion though, he implys that in a scene with Zexion. It's purposed is linked with Room of Awakening a personal room of Xemnas'. The other members of Organization XIII seem to know Xemnas is acting suspiciously, and I think it is Vexen who asks "Where is he when he is in Room of Awakening?" What could that mean? If he was in one room, how could he be in another? Also note that Riku doesn't kill Lexaeus, Xehanort does. Why does he possess Riku just to kill Lexaeus-aren't they allies? (He died differently in CoM for PS2)Like I said though, I think there is a large chunk of story missing that will explain everything.

Yeah, I saw that scene. I also knew it was Aqua. Xemnas is probably related to the tall warrior.

Xenahort isn't allies with Lexaeus.

Sora can open KH, since he is the true keyblade weilder. Roxas couldn't, because, while he's related to Sora, he isn't the true wielder of the keyblade, Sora is. Roxas is like a carbon copy of Sora.

Also, not all of them knew of Sora(like Dymx), so they thought it was Roxas with a different haircut.

Hmmmm, with the words "Keyblade War" one would think. However Nomura has a way with secrets, and surprises. I wouldn't put it past him to make us hype this game up ourselves only to find it not living up to any expectations. However I think the chasers are going to be somewhat human and conflicted. I think it will start off in the past with the three enigmatic soldiers, then change to the present to reflect on the choices or plot, then switch back to finish the story. I hope it's just better than Chain of Memories. I HATED the card battle system. It made life really hard at times. Andraxal

I also hated how EVERY Organization XIII member could freaking whoop your butt. I mean all of them were freaking hard. Not only that but you had to choose what stat to level up, which can seriously ruin you if you pick the wrong ones. Not only that but leveling up is incredibly slow, dull, and painful. The mapping system makes this game very hard as well. Better than KH? NO! NO! NO! Who ever says that obviously is biased. Andraxal

Good, I thought I was the only one who did that too!! Hahahahaha! You know I hope they don't do anymore portable KH games like that, or at least get rid of the card system.... -_- I won't buy it next time around, I'll just watch the cutscenes again. Andraxal

Lack of ORIGINAL story seems to be the only real problem with the KH series. However each game is getting better when it comes to original story. The first KH game didn't seem to have much story at all really, CoM was abysmal at times, however KHII seems to have ties with the story a LOT more than the previous two.

I thought the first KH had a story(an alright story). CoM didn't have one. I agree what you said about KH2.
