I mean, is it satisfying? 

Every 'patch' or 'mod' I've seen that claims this does a horrible job.  These game hacks only cause crashing and glitches.  This one does as well.  There are just too many issues with having Sephiroth in your party.  Many, many more issues than, say, having Edea in your party through much of FFVIII.  It just simply does not work.  The only way I can see it working is if it was built into the game to have Sephiroth beyond the one time you "have" him.

It's better to dream about having Sephiroth in your party than to become frustrated by false claims made in hacks like this.
