I'm new so I'm sorry if this has been done.

My favorite is FFVIII, I don't really know why because I just loved everything about that game or it might be my favorite because it was my first FF game.

FF6 large cast of characters, KEFKA, good difficulty, BLITZ, and thats all. I can't think of anything else i just like the game best, 2nd place is FF7, 3rd FF10

I have to say FF7. Well because it had an excellent Storyline, which will draw anyone into the game (I guess), and it had a lot of adventure in it. Lol IDK why I like it it was just a good game.:lol:

i like 7 and 8 the best due to length of storyline/game and easy to understand the battle system

Final Fantasy VII is the single best game I have ever played, bar none! The other parts of the FF-series are great RPG's, but FFVII is so much more than an RPG. It's an epic story, it's a beautiful world, it's a charactergallery unmatched by anyone ... it's quite simply a masterpiece!

FFVI was probably the best. The greatest story, IMO, the battle system was flawless and everything just worked in it. Then FFVIII, it was actually a mature love story. No love triangles and whatnot, plus the draw and battle system were actually pretty simple but fun. It actually made me like random battles. Then FFX. The story was somewhat sappy but it was atmospheric and incredibly fun. I actually liked the story, and there were plenty of large landscapes to explore in it.

FF7 has the best story, villain, music and sidequests while FF8 has the best system, characters, Magics, summons, limits, and the triple triad! I cannot pick one of those.

I must agree with you.  My nephew and I stayed up for over 48 hours straight to get the gold chocobo so we could then get the knights of the roundtable summon.  a great memory...awesome!

Simply put my favorite is FFVIII because that was the first FF I played ah good memories but sadly I haven't played in a looong time.

FFVIII had the most captivating and involving story, IMO. The gameplay mechanics were fantastic and Square really went out on a limb with VIII, but in the end it was worth it, VIII ended up being one of the best games of all time.
