What Square Enix game are you currently playing?

I'm playing through FFXII a second time. I really like the gambits, and I'm much better with them the second time around. I'm still poking through DQVIII (I'm not sure where to go next!), and I'm hitting at Star Ocean here and there. I'm about 3 hours in, I'm not sure what to do next, and I'm still not totally sure if I like it.

Is anyone else feeling ambivalent about Star Ocean?

The only Star Ocean game I have is "Til the end of time" and I have not played it yet, so I don't know what to tell you there.

I've thought about restarting FFXII too. But I still want to complete as many sidequests on my first play through file. I always get a little intimidated when I think about restarting any FF - they are so huge!! :)

Definitely. I was a little reluctant about starting a 10 yr old game but I'm glad I did. So far I like what I've played I'm only at the second mission rigth. The only thing I can't get used to right now is using the circle button to execute everything, I so used to using X it's not even funny and using the D-pad to move instead of the Analog stick. But so far so good.

:lol: I know it. After I played FFVII for a while, I had a hard time going back to the "normal" controls.

Still chugging along in the FFT:WoL and loving it...sadly i had a casualty and didnt notice it until after i saved and fought a couple battles, so man down, but i'm already overloaded with special characters, so right now it is a mute point.N8A

That is too bad though, I'm trying to be very careful to check I still have all my characters before I save because I don't have any to spare that I use regularly.

I've wanted to replay through FFXII again - but it's too daunting - since there's so much to do and I have so many games to beat yet!

yea its quite slow going and with Rogue Galaxy and Phantom hourglass i only play 12 about once a week

I only put seven hours total into it-after that I dont know what happened-either way Blue Dragon has me hooked atmCronaroth

Brave Fencer Musashi. I've never actually played through/beaten this game as old as it may be, but I thought I should get around to it since it's just been sitting on a shelf for a while. The funny thing is that I've been wanting to play this game ever since I played a demo of it way back in '98. :lol:Dantes_Girl

I remember hearing about this game....didn't SE release a Musashi game a few years ago? And wasn't it kinda mediocre? Is it action/adventure like Zelda?

I loved the new Musashi......

I was just going by what I've heard about the game, and a friend of mine played it when it came out and he said it was kinda meh.

I do like how in the GS review of the original they say, "A Zelda killer it's not..." Wow, GS don't compare the game to an already great title too fast :lol:

The first game is awesome and the second...well I wouldn't know since I've never played it.

I am currently ditching my XBox 360 for now and replaying FFX. One forgets how addictive the old (but still awesome) games are - I think I'm going to make a point of replaying VII, VIII, and IX as well, alternating with all the many many new games that I have and want! :) (Cant - wait - for - Unlimited Undiscovery - must - have - it - now ......:)SymonDezyn

I do that every once in a while, just go back and play the good ole RPGs/games that I haven't played in months or years. It is amazing how some of those games withstand the test of time for people, for me, FFVII/IX, Xenogears, and FFTactics fit that category.

I decided to load up my Final Fantasy IX file the other day just to play it again. I also plan on playing Final Fantasy VIII again too.
