Definitely the Aeris death. I was shocked when I was watching my sister play that and all of a sudden Sephiroth jumps down and runs his sword through Aeris...We both just stared at the screen with our jaws dropped thinking to ourselves "What the hell just happened?"
We couldn't believe Aeris was truly dead. It was by far and away the most shocking thing I've seen.
I was also shocked by Zidane from FFIX being an alien. :P That was a little shocking.

Explain in deatil the the most shocking moments in Final Fantasy to you. The most shocking moment in Final Fantasy to me is when Sephiroth killing Aries. I think no one was expecting her to die and when sephirth came down with that sword through her back, peoples mouth dropped in shock. You spend all that time leveling her up and when you get to the near ending of the game, she gets killded. She seemed like a very nice girl and to see her die is just shocking.Soulja_WestFrom the top of my head my most shocking moment was when i knew that Tidus was going to disappear when they defeated Sin. The main character was going to disappear. Now that is a shock.

ffviii is a story of love.
id say x can live up to there standards.
One of two. First and foremost Aeris' death is one of the most shocking moments in videogame history, let alone Final Fantasy. There was no way I was expecting a character with such a big role in the game to get killed off and she was a playable character too! All that training...heck, I was shocked when General Leo died in FFVI but this is like that ten times over! The second moment that really shocked me is when Kefka took over the world in FFVI and made the world of ruin. This shocked me because I never thought that Kefka would succeed in his evil plans, I always thought the villain had some crazy ass plan but they never achieved it. But Kefka did and that just confirmed to me that he is the greatest villain of all time.Somegamer
does kefka die.
Nope you are completely correct my friend. Tidus and Yuna = Shuyin and Lenne. That is how Yuna and Tidus fall in love at there first meeting (love at first site). Kinda goes with today lol (Valentines Day). They where destined for each other and destined to meet. That is 1 good reason for FFX2. To complete the great story. i was wondering were you were.
tidus is a dream version of shuyin i think.
shuyins the real thing while tidus was the dream.
i could be wrong.

Thank you Jordina m8. They do kinda relate to FFX's Story (Love and Hope). They 2 elements are what FFX are about. Tidus's and Yuna's Love, the Hope that they brought to Spira. Great elements of the story indeed.[QUOTE="jordina"][QUOTE="Somegamer"]One of two. First and foremost Aeris' death is one of the most shocking moments in videogame history, let alone Final Fantasy. Why not? Wouldnt you like that.I would love for FFVI to have a sequel there's so much potential for back stories for all the characters, an FFVI re-release in 3-D would be fantastic as well. Although like I said before Square need to move on with the series instead of making sequels and prequels.
Well you never know. Maybe some mysterious force would bring him back to life and gives him more power so he is almost impossible to defeat. Making him the most powerful force in the Universe. HAHAHAHAHAHA Sorry i got carried away.yes i would.
but whats a vi sequel without kefka as the villian.

Yeah well Square Enix has a lot to think about. "Should they create a Sequel/Prequel or continue the Series". It is a tough decision and determines how much moe the business would be successful. It is business, depends on what makes them more money determines on what they will do.the most shocking moment is when Cloud's holding Aeris waist-deep in water and when he drops her, she goes way further than waist depth.
pav13
yeah i am with you on that one
Definetly when Zidane reveals he didnt die to Dagger at the end. I was so shocked but happy at the same time

OMG, you spoiled it ofr me. :D
Erm.... manhunt told me to do it >_>Well for me it is when we discover that Cloud isin't the super class hero he is.I mean we play the entire game with this game *trying* to act tough.OK so he is a bit shadowy...but aren't all heros in ff are??? ok only in 7-8-9-10 at least...i mean there is always something about there past and...ok going off subject.Well, he done it mostly so he didnt look like an embarassment in fron of Tifa.
Anyway it happens in that resort town that was destroyed that is now full of the lifestream(green stuff).I mean come one,The guy was so insatisfied with his life, that he rejected reality and supplement his own(like adam savage would say).I mean you come to discover that all his life,is a big fat lie.
Anyway it has been a while since i last played.SO i may be totally wrong!!! lol MorGuliA
