Whats your #1 shocking moment in Final Fantasy? "Spoilers"

gah damn this is hard.. i wouldn't say death of Aries because i remember when i first played the game i hated her. I didn't know what she could do, and i simply chose not to train her, then i learned the almighty powers of healing wind.

(1) The most shocking moment in my Final Fantasy history, would be in Final Fantasy 4. Tella dies by using meteor, and when you lose the twins. 

(2) The end of Final Fantasy 8, I thought Squall died. But he wound up with Rinoa, which i hated.

Well for me it is when we discover that Cloud isin't the super class hero he is.I mean we play the entire game with this game *trying* to act tough.OK so he is a bit shadowy...but aren't all heros in ff are??? ok only in 7-8-9-10 at least...i mean there is always something about there past and...ok going off subject.

Anyway it happens in that resort town that was destroyed that is now full of the lifestream(green stuff).I mean come one,The guy was so insatisfied with his life,that he rejected reality and supplement his own(like adam savage would say).I mean you come to discover that all his life,is a big fat lie.
Anyway it has been a while since i last played.SO i may be totally wrong!!! lol

yeah 7 is the better of those 3 in my opinion

I think IX is although they are very close together in terms of quality.

Yeah, IX is my fav, but I still love the other 3.
