You're exactly right. As we all know(at least mature gamers),gaming is comletely about imitating life as we know it. Therefore unrealizm is definitely a horrible quality in a game(look at Zelda. A magical world with fairies and greent tights? Those games are horrible and unpopular!). The Wii is taking a different approach to gaming. It's also the wrong one. Gamers want pretty graphics. Who cares if all games eventually become rehashes? I'd rather have nothing but beautiful rehashes and clones than new gameplay experiences on last gen technology.

The worst part about the Wii is how popular it is. If it keeps selling like it is,something awfull might happen,like Wii multi-plats and ports getting first string teams who will acutally put effort into their games! If the Wii games get more quality in their games gameplay wise,everyone will be fooled into thinking the games are good,despite them not having pretty pretty graphics. It's selling well even though now their games are on the flawed side! Imagine how it would sell with more quality titles. We do need to pray that the Wii dies,'cause it seems only God can stop it now.

Last time i checked, the ps3 was supposed to be a gaming system not a blu ray player.  If they just stuck with having hd dvd or no video player, and priced it around 350+ with the amazing graphix it had, 360 would get raped and send to antartica.

1. Halo 3 and Mass Effect ar going to be HUGE sellers for the 360 Halo is Microsofts Flagship title and it's not going to be Halo 2 touched up

2. Fable was not sucky and it was not mediocre it got a 8.6 which means its great ( remeber in SW gamespots rating is all that counts all other points are moot)

3. Who cares if Alan Wake was delayed, that means more time for the devs to make it look better

Sorry about that. Your actually right. I overlooked jak and gow3 (i know how could i?). Actually GOW3 has been confirmed by Cory Barlong (director of the game) for 1080p and rumble. Jak, i dont remember exactly but I think it already has a title so that makes it semi-confirmed.

If i remember correctly if the saturn had the backing of major developers in its day it would have blown everything out of the water, shenmue was possible on it but because it was hard to program for developers went with the easy of the two companies to program for. Ring a bell?

So far x360 is winning this year for gaming and the WII is winning in terms of sales, ps3 hasn't had bugger all this year buddy so stop deluding yourself 8)

This is one of the stupidest things I've read all day. The games you listed aren't even close to the 360 line up, GT5 or Forza 2 (um FORZA every time). And little big planet you must be jocking, it's designed for 6 year olds, give me Command and Conquer 3 any day, I'd sooner play worms on live arcade than have to sit and look at that pile of poo. Mass Effect has already won mass acclaim in the gaming world so that no should be a big YES. As for Halo 3, people buy a games console just to play Halo on so how can you justify saying that kill zone will be anywhere near it as a game.

Hmmm don't get me wrong that list has some great tittles, but for a 07/08 list that will destroy what the competition will have to offer its a bit lacking. So what I'm saying is that list doesn't even have more tittles then what the Wii and the 360 will have this year alone, but then again there are definitely some PS3 tittles you definitely missed. In any case, is there a confirmation of GoW for 07/08 and Jak?

HAHA (Killzone - No Skittle Colored Aliens) lol I don't remember the aliens in Halo being that colorful...

I'm just happy cows are hyping KZ2. They didn't learn their lesson with KZ and I look forward to their future ownage again.

FYI: I own both consoles and expect my x360 to serve as my main gaming platform.
